Didn't IDW reprint much of the G1 Marvel comics in several graphic novel like collections? I have a friend wanting to find them, or a good place to get the orginal for non-insane prices.
Actually, i believe that was intentional; since its mirroring IDW Drift, who was moody serious warrior then became a more jovial character under a different writer. Unless that is what you mean, and I am mis reading due to it being 3 am.
I think as long as they continue to deny Hyrule Warriors as cannon games, they're not much way to make them fit. But HW1 gives us a Hyrule where the timelines merge, and it can be said that leads to the new BOTW/TOTK timeline where elements from all the games come together. Its kinda Occum's...

TBF Re-releasing the G1 molds for that I feel negates the "just a repaint" element somewhat as its been a awhile since they'd have any sort of official release.
Yeah, that seems very much more what Hasbro would do. They seem to do more remolds and new molds for Collabs then Takara does.
Of course they could also just do Kingdom Primal and Megatron in their TFCybertron colors, since those were meant to be Kong and Godzilla inspired iirc.
