Combiner Wars Megatron was a fantastic tank and an OK robot. This one reverses that, which really is fine with me. I mean, in an ideal universe, both modes would be great, but I don't know if it's possible to get a better tank out of the shapes that make up a cartoon accurate G1 Megatron robot.

Nice! I've run across them at Walmart, but haven't bought any. My resolve will likely break for Clench and the Dinobots. though.

I don't really mind that he doesn't turn into a gun anymore. I'm willing to let them fudge on this one character's alt mode if the only other choice is that we don't get a Studio Series Megatron. As long as the robot mode is on-point, that is (which it appears to be).

I just now noticed that he has an Autobot symbol, which is unusual for a Nemesis Prime, I think? I could be 100% wrong on that, though. I'm sure it makes sense in this story, as I assume this Nemesis Prime will literally be normal Optimus Prime corrupted or controlled by an evil force as...

My one complaint is the gap under the back of Abyss Rain's back piece. I wonder if the energy-symbol-thingy can fit between it and the main body to close that gap up?

Liking all of these. Nemesis Prime is a bit boring as a by-the-numbers Optimus repaint, but that Megatron is pretty beautiful. Very surprised that the the Leaf-energy bird wasn't in this wave, as it was the only leaked figure that hasn't shown up yet. Did it get cancelled, or are there more...

That's a good point. Very hard to tell from the picture, but it could very well just be some small highlights done with glowing paint.

According to the wiki, the missiles from the barely-released Megatron/Starscream redeco of Dreadwing/Smokejumper were glow in the dark plastic. But other than that and the slot car set, there really hasn't ever been glowing plastic Transformers which is, frankly, inexcusable.
