  1. How to survive?

Exactly. That's why I figure, take the opportunity that's there, so you can better prepare yourself for a better oppertunity later. Otherwise you're just taking resources away from yourself, and that's self defeating.
  2. How to survive?

I would see such a thing as an opportunity, as it lets you bring in money, keep your skills current, and prevents a resume gap, while also as a contractor allowing you the flexibility to look into other jobs and opportunities as they come. It also can help you get out of the mental rut of...
  3. Transformers Legacy toyline

I was trying to make a weapons loadout compatible with the Pretender Megatron/Grand Max shell mold (G1 Maximus of any form has a serious lack of 5mm ports), and then the world ended.
  4. Transformers Legacy toyline

I really LIKED the over-the-top set they did for G1 Fortress Maximus. Then again, it also has very little surface detail and by itself looks like a few cinder blocks set next to each other, the city windows really improved it in my opinion. Keep in mind, as with all aesthetic things, mileage...
  5. Transformers Legacy toyline

What I want someday (and probably won't get) would be a 'that one room from the show' mode from an Ark and Nemesis. Most times the Autobot or Decepticon bases would have their scenes take place in some generic room where you'd have the computer on the wall, some table/medical bed/flat thing...
  6. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

I never expected this, but I think I am more likely to get the Snake Mountain I mentioned above than the Ark. Partially because my nephew is getting most of the Transformers now, and I don't want to double up (we live next door to each other, so no point) but mostly because prices and value...
  7. Studio Series discussion

But EVERYBODY poops, it even has a musical number devoted to it...learned that from Emgo316's post-review Maverick skit.
  8. Studio Series discussion

How does one even skip pelvis day anyway...?
  9. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

I got several clearence-priced ones from BBTS to pad out an order (normal colored Sorceress, Buzz-off, Jitzu, bald Stratos) and they will work fine, but I really DON'T like bald-Stratos. I wasn't fond of his design normally and this just doesn't work for me. On the other hand, it may be my...
  10. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Yeah, seeing production Snake Mountain, that D&D Beholder figure would be perfect in its basement. And I wonder of the Displacer Beast would work with that tunnel somehow. And the fact that new Snake Mountain is nearly five Inches taller than my Encore Fortress Maximus and cost less than a...
  11. Star Trek Lower Decks

"The Sisko was told he could never leave!" "I didn't!" "Yes you DID! You left and came back, didn't even bother hiding it! Said 'Hi, Everybody!' when you wandered in!" "When was that?" "Uh...um...ok, you win this round smart guy..."
  12. Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

I wondered what triggered the transformation...I mean, they're the SAME GUY, even the number of fingers is right...
  13. Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

"And that's how fire ants got to Cybertron..." -Kup.
  14. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

And it will end with an 80 year old woman looking around, annoyed, who finally yells: "Where's the Beast?!"
  15. A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far Away.... - Star Wars General Discussion

Just me griping: I'm rather annoyed at the Force FX Yoda lightsaber/ Grogu's almost-saber, using non-replaceable rechargeable batteries. Those don't last forever, often just a few years, and then the item just dies. I had bad results with a sonic screwdriver remote control I really liked due to...
  16. The Mandalorian - streaming on Disney+

You have to hold on till Season 4. This is the wait...
  17. Hasbro and Mattel to produce co-branded items

I think that was called Spectra or something. I was never sure what they actually were. Like Barbie except chromed.
  18. Hasbro and Mattel to produce co-branded items

The weird part is, I have seen Barbies of everything from Star Trek to Queen Elizabeth, so I am more surprised that such a thing hasn't happened already...
  19. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

I had the original Snake Mountain as a kid, and honestly, compared to Grayskull (which I also had) it wasn't great, there wasn't much to 'do' with it, and I often didn't have batteries to work the electronics. Something like this that I can set up next to Grayskull for my nephew or silly photos...
  20. Hasbro and Mattel to produce co-branded items

"Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic sword and said MERCHANDISING! WHERE THE REAL MONEY IS MADE!" It's not fair, Fortress Maximus whips out a comically oversized sword and everyone's FINE with it...
