Mentioned in today's Hasbro Investor report:
Hasbro has partnered with Saber Interactive for a "AAA game featuring a tentpole IP". Reportedly being developed by Saber St. Petersberg (the same team behind 2024's hit Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2). According to Cox's comments, the game will...
Eh, to me, "Play to Win" is just the usual corporate speak wrapped in a new packaging for the same stuff they've BEEN doing since deciding to divest from the media focus Goldner drug them to.
As is increasingly, common, Magic and digital gaming are making up a lion's share of focus from...
Hasbro has posted 4th Quarter and Full year 2024 Earnings today. Earnings were largely impacted by the divesture of eOne assets, barring which the company saw a modest 7% decline in revenue to $4.1B (down from $5B the year before). However, "under the hood optimizations" resulted in an...
And more importantly, with the Transformers brand circling the drain in 1995, I'm not sure anyone really cared if Beast Wars tied into that "dead" aspect of the franchise.
The fact it DID end up tying into the broader lore is probably the most astounding thing about Beast Wars.
Posting this as something of a PSA:
If you have not ordered/preordered any figures from waves 4 and 5 of United, I'd recommend doing so.
Looking at Entertainment Earth, Legacy has been marketed as a "single line" since launch (with Evolution and United being "branding refreshes", akin to...
Josh McLaughlin posted some Evergreen character art to ArtStation. Featured are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Shockwave, alongside newer "appearances" like Optimus Primal, Cheetor and Elita 1.

I get the feeling that, with Seth Rollins‘ role also cut, the Serpent Society was massively gutted in development. I can almost see where SERPENT might have have been used as a “trigger” for Red Hulk and the capture of one of them lead to the tracking of Sterns. But with all the other stuff...
A less "flashy" reissue is also coming:
Earthrise Trailbreaker

Dude, I'd still totally buy a Transquito in all his ugly glory for $15-20.
Man, who knew unluckiness was such a mode-ist!?
I still feel Steeljaw is probably among the more interesting characters to come out of RiD15. And I think his position in the series could be explored in different...
I gazed at reviews and they are all over the place. I’m getting the feeling that BNW might end up being the film that “shoulders the sins of its franchise”, much as how Rise of the Beast and Dark of the Moon ended up seeing criticism more about their franchise perception than the film themselves.
Fero has let us down, he’s usually the one who is the first to post a response about these films :p
It was decent! The film is tightly structured, but script is a bit on the thin side. It’s largely the performances that carry things through, and the cast did an admirable job all around...
More toy news:
In Demand Toys revealed the spring (fully year?) 2025 Epic Hero Deluxe figures:
Chewbacca (with Wookie Armor and firing bowcaster)- A new mold featuring the extended articulation seen in most 2025 figures.
Captain Brutus- The wolf pirate comes with a new harness to attach a...
I guess this kind of goes here?
Hasbro is rerunning the previously Amazon exclusive Final Strike Battle packs. Alphastrike Counterforce featured Slamdance, G2 Sideswipe, and Trenchfoot; while the Phantomstrike Squadron featured Skywarp and a trio of Battlemasters.
Both are being offered to Fan...
To add my 2 cents to the existing discussion:
I will IMMEDIATELY buy any new Dino Transformers. Same old characters be damned, so I’m totally on board with Diplodocus Optimus Prime and anklyosaur Bumblebee.
Computron is THE combiner I want done. The disparities between the Hasbro and Takara...
Something I feel to add to that is that…when something comes out doesn’t matter much anymore. Even back in the 2000s, once a show was done, it was “done”. Aside from some home media releases, the shows never re-aired. Even in the era of DVD sets, somebody would have to go out of their way to...
