I’ve found these “bonus waves” to be a crapshoot. I’ve come across the occasional offering, but never the entire slate. Saw a bit of Legacy Wave 5 deluxe and Overcharge, but no Galaxy Shuttle or the Voyager refreshes.
So I’m firmly in the camp of “If you REALLY want it, buck up and order it”. The deluxe offerings don’t do anything for me, but Guzzle is a solid choice for me, but I’m iffy on Cybershark. Cybershark is one I’m more apt to pick up on sale or discount later on. Probably not going to both with the Onyx retool, but I’ve got a huge soft spot for Machine Wars Starscream, so he’s a guaranteed preorder.
HasbroPulse has Swindle in stock for those still looking like me. Snatched him up and shipped my POL from BBTS, Bruticus will be completed next week!
On the one hand, that's a pretty good Guzzle, but on the other hand, I'd be annoyed at paying Voyager price for a combiner part without a team to match. And I don't know if I'd really care enough to invest in a Wreckers combiner.

Guzzle looks better than expected. I was a bit worried that having to make his chest yellow would make for a funky looking tank mode, but I think they integrated it well. And the way they did the yellow 'caution' stripes helps a lot. His dark parts look a shade greener (as opposed to just dark grey) than I expected, but maybe he's always been that color and it's just one of those "photographs differently depending on light" issues?
I am completely satisfied with that Guzzle. The yellow doesn’t severely clash, and the added details help bring some consistency. Headsculpt is perfect.

Yeah, I'm impressed by how well he turned out. Would have preferred the toy forest green to the olive but it isn't bad at all.
That's pretty interesting. I do hope we get a Computron sooner rather than later because the frame situation should be easier to fudge with Scattershot. The G1 altmode could be the combined mode of a smaller G1 style jet, with the combiner frame being the cannon emplacement base/the bigger wings and boosters of G1 jet's back half. The limbs are also a nice mix of altmodes that should really all be doable as Deluxes.
But I insist on a toy colors Nosecone; I have no real preference with what they do for the rest.

Yeah, Computron is the only combiner left I'm really waiting for. Defensor is cool and all, but Computron was the biggest miss for me in CW (well, after Menasor obviously), and you make a good point that Scattershot could probably integrate a frame pretty well.
I would love to get a new Computron! He is probably way down Hasbro's list though.
If they keep going how they are, we're likely gonna get Defensor Next then Abominus then Computron. So really not that far down
I'm still betting on Defensor next, then a Victorion set as an exclusive somewhere.
