No, but I might actually be able to play multiplayer reasonably!

Now if only I had friends...

1st day of Spring Break, and I wore my Decepticon t-shirt. Black t-shirt, purple logo, I looked like the guy from the Pewsitters comic. (or I would if I was 25 years younger. With more hair that wasn't going gray.)(Also shout out to Zoose who clued me in about the toy show that August in Washington where my wife bought me the shirt - but anyway, I'm digressing like an old man whose adderall has worn off for the day . . . )

Went in this morning to get a blood draw for next week's doctor's appointment, and the wrap the phlebotomist used to hold the cotton in place matched the purple on my shirt.

I made boiled cookies just now. First time doing the recipe. Lethargy at the beginning, panic at the end, forgot the vanilla... and all in a half hour.

Hope they're good, but it's cocoa powder, peanut butter and quick oats with stuff to bind them together... so no shot they suck outright.

Edit: even without the vanilla; they are absolutely delicious. I need to add a pinch of salt next time, let it cool just a touch longer before portioning... maybe mix in some rice krispies for texture?

Pugged Challenge Mode fractals in Guild Wars 2(hard mode dungeons - think Mythic+ in WoW) for the third time since learning them tonight, and somehow got the final no-death achievement(meaning no one in the group at all died) I was missing for the CM fractals! These no-death achieves are what most pugs use to filter on over on the NA servers, so I'm set now to get into any group I want that has a spot I can fill. And this was only my 5th or 6th time I think doing all 6 of them in one go - I'd been doing the first 2 regularly but had mostly left the others alone until a guildie took me and another fellow raider along to teach them. One of their runs after that was also how I got the other no-death achievement that got me into that pug run tonight in the first place.

So my bedroom tv started to die last week. It got Pixelated lines running through the screen vertically and static moving through the screen horizontally. I am a bit sad as I have had this TV forever. It was a 42" 1080P Sharp Aquos that I bought for myself when I got off probation at my State job in the spring of 2007. At that time you could get a 52" Sharp Aquos, but that was the only thing better on the market. I had this tv so long that they don't make them anymore and the store that I bought it from doesn't even exist anymore! RIP HHGregg. It remained my main Livingroom TV from 2007 all the way until 2015 when I got a 55" Vizio 4K TV for my livingroom, and moved my Sharp Aquos into the bedroom, and with a Roku Soundbar, served heavy duty as the TV that I watched the most since my family was usually using the Living room tv.

I was going to go buy a new TV, however, my mom just recently upgraded her Livingroom TV to a 65" 4K HDR UHDTV, and had a 55" 1080p Vizio HDTV just sitting on her spare bedroom bed. So when I was down there yesterday and told her about my TV, she let me have her old Vizio. One long harrowing trip later, with my middle child holding the TV in the back the whole way, we cleaned off the old Sharp and moved its 78lbs of LCD goodness off of the dresser, and put the "new" light weight 55 LCD in its place. It is such a better screen, even though they're both 1080p, the newer one stats are that much better and the extra screen size is great too. I still have to figure out how to get it to work with just the Roku Speaker Bar remote like my Sharp did, but I am pretty happy with this upgrade despite losing my old TV.

Now, can Nasa actually build a moon base? As Artemis III will be the mission that gets humans back on the moon after 50+ years, thou a few days ago, I did see a video about the Mars mission idea and the consquences, its pretty much a one way trip as you spend a long time in a very confinded space and the planet's gravity being much different from Earth's, so the Mars missions could pretty much end up being one way trips for those going there as they haven't been able to invent a decive that creates gravity (YET), thou I guess they'll have to call in Bulma Briefs from Dragonball to help with that problem! 😁

Just let me visit the Moon once before I die. I was fully prepared to devote my life to doing whatever it takes to get my turn, but then NASA just stopped doing things. I never did figure out what to do with my life instead.

Today was a good day.

Course NASA can build a moon base. That was never in question.

The question is: how long will be viable?

Not long, I expect, it might be easier to build a another space station and have a couple of massive cables going down from it to Earth to shift cargo into space, but then these things cost money, one thing for sure, the UK goverment not going to cough it up, they are completely hopeless, much of our naval fleet is out of action and I read a article that says the UK Navy will be using infilatables as War ships, with the first in the Fleet being named HMS Bouncy Castle, honestly, I laughed out loud when I read that as it took me a moment to realise that the article was a joke, yet I wouldn't put it pass the UK goverment to do such a thing as back in WW2, we had a fake miltray to fool the Nazis into thinking that the invasion of Europe was going to be launched from Dover instead of Portsmouth and the D-day landings were a trick as fake documents were used to fool Nazi high command with a dead person's body!
