That lead up episode of the wish world went on way too long. Like it wasted time that they could have used on making Omega an actual problem instead of a Jim Henson puppet. No Susan, Belinda ends up as a single mom to a fully human Poppy, apparently all the timelords are sterile now, and the doctor has regenerated into Rose.

I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed. All that build up to Susan and we get nothing.

The entire ending of it got changed, due to Ncuti deciding to leave. Originally what was gonna happen, and Susan's actress herself confirmed this, is that Poppy would have ended up with her and She and the Doctor would be looking for each other as the set up of season 3. But with the show not having a renewal yet. Ncuti not wanting to have his career on hold for this show; they had to wrap up things since they didnt know how long or when a new season would happen. Also there is some debate on if Billy Piper is actually the Doctor or not, since the credits list her as ??? instead of "The Doctor"

Correction needed here. Billie Piper is not credited as "???." She is simply mentioned, without regard to her role. This is only a "thing" because it has been traditional to credit the new Doctor as such, immediately after the regeneration. It might be nothing at all. It's just that folks are making a big deal about it in the absence of hard information.

As I said there is "some" debate. It could be something, could be nothing. I feel its worth mentioning, just becuase some discussion is better then nothing.

Edit: - Here's a pretty good review of this show.


(Overall, I thought that this series was similar to Star Trek Academy in that I believe it was poorly written and was attempting to be a jack of all trades but master of none).

It came out back in November/December but given that Doctor Who popularty has fallen off a cliff, I'm not surprised it slipped under your radar, I've not watched it myself and feel no need to as I stopped watching Modern Who during Jodie's time, the show was just getting boring and Jodie lacked any of the charsima that the previous Doctors had, even John Hurts who played the War Doctor was more intersting than Jodie

Just like before on Tubi the first story and the last of the First Doctor's story are missing.
