It is, and it's operational. Like so much else in South Florida, it was a 1960s project that was supposedly abandoned but the military still hangs around there for some reason. "Training", supposedly.

Our state attorney general plans to have the facility up and running next month.
The Floridians whose homes get destroyed in the next hurricane will be happy knowing that their government is leaving them homeless so that more brown people can be imprisoned.

I'd say there are already plenty of snakes on Trump's plane.......
Considering I've heard of reports of American prisons flooded with sewage, I doubt this will deter officials from interring people (illegally) there.
It's even money that the flooding is by design.

The place is meant to be so bad that people will self deport rather than taking a chance of ending up there.

I've self-deported in advance. I will never go back to the USA from where I live now until things change substantially for the better. I view the US as almost as dangerous to visit as China, North Korea and Russia.
