Another recolour concept: SS86 Grimlock in Diaclone colours as pre-reformatting-in-BM T-Wrecks, Diaclone Slag as Triceradon, Diaclone Snarl as Dinobot Striker, and Swoop as mega-obscure character Ravenus.
(Hang on, isn’t SS86 technically in Ravenus deco? Well, the Swoop redeco can be in G1 Swoop red, and you get stickers to change the name on SS86 Swoop’s box to Ravenus.)
(I have no idea what to do with Sludge, as his Diaclone counterpart had the exact same colours.)

There was a time when I would have considered this madness, but after getting a "Cancelled G2 Decos" subline, I would not be COMPLETELY shocked by a a line composed entirely of animation-error original characters, and I would be among the first in line for it.
It's weird how much I genuinely love some of the coloring-error decos. Or maybe it's only weird for some of them, 'cause Stealth Thrust there is awesome.

I didn't buy this mold because I wasn't attached to Armada Prime, but I've been hoping for a repaint that could be used as a new character on my shelf. My ideal deco would be the Powerlinx version, but this is very tempting, too. I love that's it's a deep blue instead of black.
Well. I guess I got a name for the Elite Seeker when I get him.
I like the "character mistakenly colored as someone else" ones because those are often good color schemes that would work on a lot of body-types/molds, but they're identified with a particular individual.
Or they're inexplicable new members of a defined, color-co-ordinated team (Constructicons, Dinobots) which is also fun, and the idea of a subgroup's membership fluctuating or expanding is not something we get often. (Yes, Wreckers, but IMO they're a different kind of team.)

Yeah I was going to say "now they all need names," but then I realized that's likely already been done (for years at this point.)
I'm actually hoping for an even deeper, more blackish dark blue like the deluxe Armada Nemesis Prime got. And that tan instead of gray/silver.
Although tbh I'd LOVE the Costco Energon 2-pack colors, even if it's then just a name-reuse/repurpose.
Most importantly I'd like it without the trailer (there were rumors for a while of just the cab being sold by itself, but as Armada Prime, long before this current leak) as that's one less thing to find room for. But the immensity of it is kind of intriguing.
I wish I'd gotten the regular Armada Prime they just released, since my original was the Powerlynx version.
Question then, though, is: Animation/Japan colors, or western toy colors?
I always did like the red face plate.
