TR Fort Max is not a good Transformer, but he is a good super robot. He's one of two Titans I've purchased knowing that I will rarely - if ever - transform it (the other being The Ark). If you missed out on any iterations of this guy along the way, $160 is a pretty reasonable ask.
TR Fort Max is a heavy Metroplex Retool.
I think there have been listings of a Leader Class Comic Fort Max... maybe that's an IDW-era tank, but I'm kind of hoping it's the "smaller" Fort Max from the G1 comic book, more in scale with Comic Scorpinok... himself comparable to Power Master Optimus Prime. Leader would be a good scale for that.
It might be practical to wait and see if that's a better Fort Max.

The problem with Marvel Fort Max is that toy makes up for a lot of deficiencies by being a bigass city, so downscaling him really hurts it as a toy. As that "aircraft" mode that's just him splayed out with a big tower on his gut ain't great either.
At least with Scorponok, a big scorpion is still fun even if it's not a bigger scorpion.

Oh, sure. I'd really like a Leader (or even Voyager?) Scorpinok based on the G1 comics; but given how... lame... Fort Max's alt mode is, it's easy to get it perfect and super poseable... and still have room to do something else with it if they wanted to.
Target has a bunch of stuff on clearance, probably to start making room for the pre-holiday reset. Didn't check the exact prices, but Target Prime, SS Overload, Devastation Prime, and more are marked down.
Speaking of Target…it’s Circle Week! Their counter to Amazon Prime week, they are offering $10 off $40 or more toy purchases. Online and in store, and it DOES apply to preorders (like the upcoming multipack or Devastation recolors)
