So I got a chance to see the sneak peek of the first new episode, "Summer Block Buster", and it was great! Season 5 officially starts on June 5th, and I am greatly looking forward to this as Doofenshmirtz and Perry are always entertaining.
My daughters watched through this show on their iPads and I heard quite a bit of it and found it pretty clever. Then I saw it on screen and oh. my. gosh. is it visual language terrible.
...wait, when was the first time they came back?
Yup, both seasons of it!And I really gotta finish Milo Murphy's Law. That on Disney +?
I think that they just wanted to have the Back to the future Homage. Also, I didn't like how Perry connected two plugs in the pouring rain. Isn't that dangerous? He and others nearby could have been electrocuted.
Oooooh, I didn't make that connection! Yeah, I can see that, hahaI think that they just wanted to have the Back to the future Homage.
Yeah I just started watching this and I'm glad I'm not the only one a bit bummed by the 'New intro'I've seen the first episode and the "new" theme song, which was recommended to me on YouTube. Glad I didn't wait for that one. I get that the original is a classic, but to change one word and a little of the way it sounds and then promote it like a new thing? Well, it kinda got my hopes up.
Besides, they did all that stuff last summer. I want a song about things they're going to do this summer.
I don't -- can't -- hate it or anything, but there were certain expectations set by process that I feel weren't really met.
I should talk to Doofenshmirtz about this. I'm sure he'd agree, and probably even have a solution.

Like you said, they did all that already. I want a song about other things they could do.
Or at the very least have Cadance say: "MOM! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence. AGAIN!" Give me something man.
I really wish American shows and cartoons would take a page from anime, and give us a new opening and ending on a regular basis.
Btw, looking at s1 eps, I'm surprised to realize that Perry actually connects his kicks and punches to Dr Doofenshmirtz.
Had it in my head that Batman Animated 's original rule of no physical contact during fights also applies to other shows. Either sfx or pull aways instead during fights.
I just got through the fourth earlier, and it had it.Okay is this just a glitch with my Disney Plus? I'm still watching through the new season, not having time is a sad reality, but I'm on like episode 5 and the intro doesn't even say "There's another 104" It just starts with the old "There's a 104"
So they couldn't even bother to keep the "New" intro going? Really? Was it just the first episode only?
The rules were a bit more nuanced than that, if memory serves. Batman couldn't just punch a guy - nothing that a little kiddy could imitate - but he could perform a controlled martial arts move or something like that. And they did apply elsewhere, as there was a reason why Spider-Man used a lot of webbing on his foes rather than outright punching them. Besides, y'know, selling toys.
