First of all, I imagine that most... indeed, the vast majority... of those who took the effort to join a protest DID vote... and vote against Trump... last year. But leave that be. Here's a much needed counter-argument to the idea that "feel good protests" are ineffective.

To be frank, I'm less bothered by that (no surprise, I'm sure) than I am by being constantly told "both sides are the same."
