That's always been my own gripe. Make G1 Megatron a tank all you want. But it's no longer a fit for Studio Series 86. The label is meaningless.
That said, in regard to doing something that was never in the movie... it's hardly the first time a character has been given a previously-unseen...
I remain unconvinced, for a bunch of reasons. That said, I can't completely disprove it. It just doesn't mesh terribly well with what's known elsewhere.
Not only that, but they believe that liberals think that way, too, and can easily justify their own violence by pointing to the violence of the other side, whenever and wherever it exists (no matter how poorly representative it may be).
I'm far more okay with the idea of term limits than I am with the idea of an arbitrary age limit that paints all people of a given age with the same brush.
Not really an alternate timeline the way that term is usually intended. This is intended to be the same timeline as, say, Picard s3. Just much farther into the future.
Assuming that 47 wasn't delusional, and that he was actually correct about what was going on in South Africa (and that the SA government was hiding it, as is the contention), I'm not sure what else he would have been expected to do....
I mean, there's plenty about 47 that's moronic and worthy...
Perhaps, but remember that in our own system, while "BC" does designate a "before," AD does not designate an "after" (and, of course, the secular equivalents of "BCE" and "CE" help clarify this by not even suggesting an "after"). The Star Wars system of "BBY" and "ABY" does, on the other hand...
Presumably, some people (I'd use another word, but it probably violates board rules) came on board precisely because he was taking over... but yeah, I'm surprised that it ever rose above his starting point. I know I wasn't alone in leaving back when first word that he was likely going to buy it...
I consider this so obvious that I'm mildly surprised it has to be a discussion. Trump is setting things up so that he can do everything he wants, but when push-back comes, it's always going to be someone else who has to take the fall for it.
What's perhaps more suprising is that there are so...
I don't intend it to be "doom and gloom," but simply the realistic (IMHO, of course) perspective that sustaining 8 waves of all-but identical figures... folks are bound to get tired of it. There's going to be a drop-off of interest long before wave 8 would be ready.
