I'm not sure that's really arguing against my point LBD "Nytetrayn"
You mean the stuff Dr. Light BUILT/DESIGNED him to do?
To be honest, I'm not even sure what I was trying to say, either.

The perils of posting after 4am in the morning.

I need to do that.

Been playing it all day since I have today off.

It feels pretty good to control. It has some normal fan game jank, but nothing too horrible. I actually ended up stuck in a wall at one point, but apparently you can use the exit ability even if you haven't beaten the stage yet.

I just beat the 8 Mavericks. Still looking for upgrade things. I have 2 of the four subtanks. Unless there is a weapon and life tank to find like in X4. I think I have most of the Heart Pieces. I'm missing one or two.

I'm missing one armor upgrade as well. This game actually has one in each stage.

I say it's pretty fun!

One gripe that might just be me having bad luck, but I swear there is no point in using the Maverick weapons on the other Mavericks. Not a single thing I've tried on any of them seem to do any significant amount of damage. I've literally just used charge shots to take every single one down.

Beat it. First form Sigma can be a tough one, but his second form is honestly not that hard at all.

There is a special capsule in the first Sigma stage if you've gotten everything in each stage. You have to do something similar to what you did to get it in X1. Might want to look it up if you want to go for it. (Edit: Oh yeah, you don't have to have full health)

Like normal you have to have every heart piece, every armor upgrade, every subtank (And I can confirm there are four) AND have gotten every 'disc' item in every stage. You'll know you got everything in a stage if when looking at the data for it when hovering over it. It should have "Complete" in there. If it doesn't. You are missing something.

You actually need the discs (actually I think the game calls them chips) to get the armor upgrades. If you get them all you'll have just enough to afford the final secret capsule.

I like that instead of a room of teleports that take you to each boss, you just run into them again during the stages like in X1. The game has some homages to X1 scatted throughout.

I got the upgrade that lets me charge special weapons. If you use those charged up they do indeed eat through the Maverick health, but some of them are still just not worth using anything other than the normal Charge shot.

Also the upgraded charge in this is probably my second favorite one I've come across in any X game.

I throughly enjoyed my time with it, and it does sorta hint at something cool for a possible sequel. If the guy who made this actually does that.

The only things I really have left are the Achievements. I got a few playing the game. There are a good handful I'm likely not going to attempt. All the "Get S Rank" things.

However there are a few that say things like: "Hidden Treasure" except I got everything in the game, so what is that?

I've seen guides for all upgrades stuff, but no one has done a guide for achievements, so for now I'm just kinda scratching my head.

Slight spoilers: these are the achievements. You can see the ones I have.

I have NO CLUE how to get these other ones and I can't find a guide. If anyone else ends up playing the game, please share with me if you figure any of them out.

I love that ricochets can finally do damage to enemies, apparently.

So I found that Untouchable is to beat a stage and boss without ever taking damage.

I have not done this, but saw someone share a screenshot.

Apparently, to get the 'harder hate harder fist' one, you need to use the uppercut power on a met.

One I realized I didn't capture, but there is a 'Hidden Treasure' one that you get by finding a breakable floor in Sigma Stage 2

It stands to reason that "Invincible" might be: 'Beat the entire game without getting hit' in which case, bleep that one.

I'm also wondering if purist means to not get any upgrades and beat the game. Which just sounds annoying.

Why is she Twinkle Girl instead of Twinkle Woman?

Also that means that the winner of the character creation contest doesn't have to be a woman, since they already have one. So might not be Vac Woman after all.

Mega Man is turning into X already.

Give us Bass!

Soooo the Dual part of the Dual Override isn't the Double Gear system but cuz Proto Man is there? Dual roles?

Why is Astro Man back? Weird.

One theory is that it's because she's an apprentice robot.

Hopefully they don't just think "Well, we already have a woman..."

OTOH, I'm really rooting for the fire fighter robot to win...

Why is Astro Man back? Weird.

Astro Man R, technically, and they tease about that a little in the press release, which has screens and other info:

Astro Man R... Astro Man Reploid?!?! Astro Man started the Reploids?!?! Gasp!

Twinkle Girl really is a bunny, isn't she? She's so upbeat and Mega Man just blows her up.

Well, Twinkle Girl seems to be at least partially based on Japanese Idols. Her boss arena even looks like a stage. And Idols are pretty well known for playing up the whole young and cutesy shtick. So, calling herself "Girl" actually kind of tracks with the culture, if that's what they're going for. I could be wrong, though.

Also...Mega Man's looking downright POSSESSED in the first part of that trailer. Is the power-up gimmick this game turning him evil? Could we finally be addressing the whole "Mega Man gets turned into Quint in the future" thing? I doubt Capcom would do that, but it would be kind of neat. It's probably just a minor plot point that will probably be resolved quickly by the end of the game. (...Or maybe in Protoman's side of the adventure). But, I can dream!

More likely means something like "Revived" or "Return", like in Sailor Moon R.

Are you referring to this?

I'm like, 95% sure that's Twinkle Girl.

Oh, yeah. Those eyelashes do look more like her. I thought this was just Mega Man in this new "Override" mode. Especially since, he does slightly glow red after using that huge blast against Twinkle Girl, probably just from "overheating". Looks like I'm wrong. My bad.
