I wonder how practical it would be to remold Legacy Laser Optimus Prime to get rid of the shoulder pylons.

See? That's the stuff. If you're going to give MW Optimus a G1y Optimus head, go all in and do a version based off of the Laser Prime box art. And I mean all in. None of this "we gave a toy accurate MW Optimus a G1 Optimus head" stuff, no, no, no. Do Laser Prime in a MW deco and remould the shoulder pylons.

What I'm saying is I want two MW Optimus toys. Which seems greedy when we've had zero for twenty nine years but also... gotta make up for lost time, Hasbro! Maybe this wouldn't be necessary if you'd properly celebrated Machine Wars' tenth anniversary in 2007, hmm? Not like you had anything else going on that year. No sir.

The TR Prime mold can just fold the pylons back. Remold the chest and you'd have a decent enough base for MW Prime. Then just swap out the Titan Master to make Thunderclash.

Not directly relevant, but as long as we're talking about nineties toylines that had Mirage in unusual decos, I'd love to see his Go-Bot look finally come back. Sideswipe's too. I have no idea how we got Siege Sideswipe and its retools in sixteen decos and none of them were that one.

We did get that blue Deep Cover that was basically Sideswipe in blue like his Go-Bot toy.

I thought about that! It would be neat to see if someone could do it, as it would make the truck a flat nosed vehicle. If I ever get a junker G2 Prime, I will give a shot.

TR Misfire would be cool, but I'd almost like them to take another crack at the Decepticon Targetmaster trio and get molds with the Targetmaster partners. Or reissue the TR trio with new mold Targetmaster buddies. That would be best of both worlds.

Runabout is the only Target exclusive in recent years that I never saw in stores. I didn't look that hard for Runamuck because I never found Runabout, but I didn't actually see Runamuck in stores at that time, either. Picked up the Runamuck reissue on clearance, so Runabout is pre-ordered, will be glad to have the pair.
