I could never stand regular earbuds, but I got a headset with inexpensive "bone conduction" earpieces(spoiler: you can still hear from them a bit when they're not on) and get great sound from those without covering my ears completely or shoving something into my earholes.

I was considering those as well but I didn't like the way they looked or the way there's stuff hanging off the back of my head, that might catch on something and just looks a little silly when I walk/run. I just don't like the kind that completely plugs up my earholes because I think I have an allergic reaction to whatever they use to make the rubbery stuff and it makes my ears itch if I wear them for too long. The ones that are hard plastic and just sit in the concha are good enough for me.

The system, thou I do have a question, do you find your self sleeping in blocks of a couple of hours? If yes, then your body is shifting back to how its meant to be, as I learned through a video that until the industrial revolution that humans use to tend to sleep in blocks and thus would be awake during the night before going back to sleep

I'm having a ice-cream after doing some work in the gardens, mainly strimming both sides back despite the heat and then doing the house bins and recycling, so I'm sweating hot after that!

Conjunctivitis is a relatively common condition. Generally, it'll go away on its own but if there's itching or pain, you should have it looked at.

I taken no chances and got some eye drops for it, its the second time this year its happened, one of my eyes turned red, which is highly unusual for me

Not really, until earlier this year, I haven't had something like that for a couple of years and the normal red eye is from lack of sleep or just woken up and needing to put water on my face
