The Nexus situation continues to be so complicated, mostly because of the frame system. It's harder to complete a combiner with its central base relying on a specific format that is harder to slot into a line/waves, even with the current expanded number of Commander class releases. I'm sure they'll eventually get this done, and they might as well take their time.
Just go and do full micro play, you cowards...
This was a bit confusing -- they'd still be "toy-exclusive" characters unless used in media, no? -- but the salient point being that they wouldn't go in the media-based line makes sense.New versions of previously toy-exclusive characters will likely be put under Generations, not Studio Series.
Abominus? Huh.Hoping to do more smaller scale figures like the cereal Jazz, but no current plans. Mentions that this might be a good place to get representations of larger characters (Unicron, Abominus) that would otherwise have to weight for room in the larger size categories.

I think this might be a good venue for the G2 combiners, then. And, aside from Defensor (we'll see if that gets shafted out of being made AGAIN), I guess with prices like these I can be fine with the CW ones.Believe they hit on a good formula for combiners when asked if they could go MTO.
