I'm assuming they went with "Varmint" because the Cobra version is the Ferret?
Outside of Club/Special releases, when was the last time we got a Hooded Cobra Commander at retail? I was thinking Spy Troops or Valor vs Venom, with the interchangeable helmet and hood accessories, and that was a while back.
But, yeah, there's badguys, and there's Bad Guys, and it's a fine line to walk, I guess?

I wonder if any Deep Six parts could be reused for a Star Brigade figure...
Also no Joe Haslab this year.
-ZacWilliam, Wonder if TF will get one. This is the first year I would be unlikely to swing it. They've mostly been gifts from my parents but they've had a lot of unexpected expenses this year and I wouldn't want them to.

The last hooded Cobra Commander I recall being released was the Dollar General/Basic version that they did in blue and black during the initial run up to Retaliation back in 2012/13
Digging that Action Man. It based on any particular incarnation?
My guess is a callback to his short story in IDW's "Hearts and Minds" miniseries, where he internally monologues about all the ways the deep sea can kill you.

I recently stumbled upon these (well, the Snake Eyes). Are these based on anything specific? A cancelled/unmade 90s concept, or something from the newer comics?
