First I've heard of it too. My only reaction here is "Prodigy was killed for this?"

Wonder if it was one of those "We only want our target demographic, and if we're getting a second demographic also, we'll kill it instead" situations.

Nope, checked and it just started September last year. So Prodigy wasn't doing what Nickelodeon wanted and they opted for the style of show Scouts is instead. Great if the kids like it, but definitely seems to me more "Kids-aimed" than "Family-aimed". That trailer itself feels rather over the top in a "summer kids movie" kind of way, with things like firing the "Fork" at the "meatball asteroid". It could all be explained as some holodeck thing, I suppose.

The actuall episodes were either buried behind the usual "compilation of random clips" or geo-blocked (outside the US?), but from the quick scan of a compilation video, there seems to be a different type of asteroid (meatball, giant rubber ducky, etc) every episode and they have a new mcguffin to deal with it. They "assemble" on the bridge like Octanauts/Paw Patrol and that's it?

Okay, that's a good take.

I do love the idea of Harry Mudd. A human raised in the post-scarcity paradise of the Federation that rejects all of that and flies out into the wilds of the galaxy to make it on their own, full of all the negative qualities of humans that you rarely see in the "best and brightest" that make up the normal cast.

Really, just give me some scenes where Harry spars with Quark. I know that they live in totally separate time periods. I just wanna see it.
