Correct me if I'm wrong, but they did say that they are doing all 3 screen-time Dinobots at Titan scale, right? Is that going to be taking up the Titan class for the next 3 years, or were they planning on spreading them out a little? Not that I need to be buying a bunch of Titans, but I just hate to see them clogging up the works with these for years and then someone in accounting deciding that Titans never sell and need to be cancelled as a concept.

If I were a meddling executive I would have shot down this idea. I don't think sales on this one are going to be great.
"But Mr. CoffeeHorse, we can do the AoE Dinobots at sc..."

"What's that? Titan Grandus? Excellent idea."

That does seem to be the case, yeah. All four AOE Dinobots at Titan scale.

I want a SS86 Slash. If they can remake all the minibots, remake the Mini-dino.

Very much, yes. I'm am 110% in favor of additional Dinobots. In addition to Slash and Scarr and importing Scorn from Bayverse, I would also like to see AoE Slog brought over. I know in theory AoE Slog is a Bay-ified Sludge, but his design is much more Brachiosaurus than Bronto/Apatosaurus, and he already has a new name and a unique looking robot mode. Likewise, AoE Slug could be a different Ceratopsian dinosaur and Strafe could be a different sort of pterosaur (ideally with a single head). Heck, give Grimstone and all the Powercore Combiner drones Leader class toys. I will never be opposed to more Dinobots.

I haven't collected anything 'Bay-verse' in some time. Frankly, I'm tired of their aesthetic. I really don't like the bags of knives.
With that said and after some very serious thought, I do like the idea of an Optimus riding a giant Grimlock for my shelves.

I got the Nemesis version of the leader Prime because it had a touch more paint than the mostly grey original release, as well as the guns. And I will get this Grimlock. But I am not in for the other Dinobots from the Bay-verse. I have less than zero interest in them.

This really is just this one display.

That pic of Grimlock standing upright is a horrible photo, even by usual Hasbro stock photo standards. It makes it look like he's wearing a gigantic diaper that ended up not being big enough. If I'd been planning to buy him, that picture would make me pause and reconsider.

The AOE Dinobots are very cool, but I don't think they're all Titan class prices cool. Grimlock I can see having that kind of appeal, and maybe the last to release will get some of that "completing the set" hype bump, but they're not collectively memorable enough to command that kind of price all those times in a row.

I'm still content with the first Grimlock, and that was a hell of an introduction to Studio Series. Remakes of the others in Studio Series would be welcome, just not all at this price point. (Sadly, this Snarl was firmly offscreen, but that's the remake I want the most.) This feels like someone lost the Titan class slots in a bet or something.

I'm not totally over the live-action movie aesthetic, and have been wanting either package refreshes of older releases (and/or ones with opaque plastic windows) or releases of the more obscure movie characters (even concept stuff). All of those ahead of Titan class Dinobots.

I've seen the movie and I don't know who AOE Grimlock is.
That’s because he didn’t get name dropped until the following film!

This Grimlock doesn’t do much for me, either. Too big for my desires, the actual film deco was bland AF (big reason I didn’t get in on the Leader version as well), and I’ve much preferred the “neo-Bay” stylings of the post-Bumblebee efforts instead of the “walking metal shards” look of the earlier films.
