Finished the detailing on Big Convoy. Added a darker shade of brown over the back as well as a toy-based lighter brown towards the bottom and trunk tip. Added dry brushed weathering over the tusks, leaving only the tips stark white. Did the tail tip too while I was there.finished the brown parts off with a satin finish so that it’s just slightly glossy under high lighting, like I’d expect fur to be.
Shot taken in more neutral light to better show the contrast off. Also contemplating doing the green beast eyes like the toy but with added pupils.
Not much of a change in robot mode.
forgot to showcase some of the built-in weaponry. He has the shoulder missiles from the old toy, and the mammoth front legs can swivel forward and have detailing on the legs to imply cannons and even have blast effect ports. Speaking of which, unfortunately, the trunk tip isn’t compatible and the Big Cannon is technically blast effect compatible but the narrowly-placed, deeply imbedded ports make it difficult to get anything but the thinnest of blast effects to attach there.
