I just had an odd thought. If they got 'The Touch' for a toy, they could probably license the other parts of the movie's sounds or voices. I wonder how hard it would be to make a Unicron helmet with the original voice clips. And it could be a default 'close to scale' Unicron toy for some dioramas (depending on which scene you're referring to in the whole inconsistent history of his size).

At that point: you might as well just make a regular unicron head at titan scale.

Give me a Titan Scale Unicron head that opens up into a playset. Give it swap-out or transformable bits so that it can either be in either "mint condition" or post-movie busted condition. Problem is, of course, that any playset would be too small for main line figures. It would have to be scaled to Blokees or something.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

No, there wouldn't be a useful scale for any figure at that size. If you want a playset, you'll have to go with the acid vat or crushers and the overhead rail.

I meant: give us a titan scale head, shove some lights into the eyes, and a speaker, have it spout some lines... maybe act a bluetooth speaker.

I'm passing on the Matrix, in the end it will likely end up just sat somewhere gathering dust, while a novel idea, when the excitment wears off, it will be pretty much a large paper weight, much like those TFs that transform via a app on your phone, in due course, they'll become large paper weights because the app is no longer supported by current software

Oh, yes...I was in the 'no way' category when I thought it was li-ion powered. I have had too many things die like that, software operation is another problem on top of it, for the expensive auto-transformers. If it had been both software operated AND rechargeable it's the perfect storm of "Doom" for my experiences. I even have a watch I can't use due to software updates.

For this though, AA's definitely make me reconsider (they can leak, but some decent lithium AA's can greatly decrease that chance, plus I can always taken them out). Still not sure, since prop replicas also tend to be one of those things that goes on sale...

If I was going to get the matrix, I would be far more likely to get the matrix book ends I saw years ago. Which wouldn't be as neat as the light up and talking version: but would unarguably be more useful.

Something's definitely up at Pulse, not only is the Matrix more expensive AND sold out, it's also having a big 'Owned' green button on it for me, and I'm pretty sure I don't, I didn't even set up and order there.

The Matrix was back in stock at one point this morning (probably people cancelling their orders when the found it was cheaper everywhere else) but it's back out of stock now.
