So, minor heads up: I am slowly losing the fight to not purchase devastator...

He's honestly a great figure and other then size* is better then CW in everyway.



*I know that's not an issue for everyone, but I know some people like CW Devie for his size.

86 Devestator is not to bad, the biggest problem is the rear, he got a lot of junk in the trunk from bad desgining, personally, I would of sent the torso bots back to the drawing board because there is other ways to do the combined mode legs, while with Hook, I would of had a extra flap installed to cover up the robot mode head for combined mode because it sticks out like a sore thumb, thou I dealt with that thanks to a part I bought from tfsafari.com, their good for upgrades plus they do a lot of third/fourth party figures, the KO of Legacy Animated Optimus I got from them, also got a upgrade for Devy's legs so that Scrapper and Mixmaster don't look so silly, also gave his lower arms a bit of a extention along with a better means to actually hold his gun in combined mode, not bothering with the DNA kits on Devy as they aren't fixing anything desgin wise and only make the junk in the trunk look worse!

I didn’t get 86 Devastator because the combined mode is just UW Devastator again. If they'd figured out some way to give him a less bloated torso or a bigger head, I'd probably have pulled the trigger. It's especially disappointing given they don't have the excuse of the frameless combination method and giftset budgeting any more.

SS86 is aight. I mainly went in for the individual modes, as he is not cool enough (IMO) to dethrone UW Devy. The combined mode is nice but I think he shines in bot modes and vehicle modes.
