Just opened up my first few Defender kits (from series 5). How'd it go? Well, I went to the Blokees website and ordered the set of all of series 1-3 plus the Devastator kibble.
It be like that. When I get paid I'm going to grab the Beast Wars set. Those look so damn good. Thinking about using Aliexpress to try and get some of the marvel ones.

Defender series 6.

BW Primal and Megs, beast BW Primal and Megs, regular and secret chases of I think the robot mode ones (mutant head on Primal, but not on Megs). And Cheetor, rounding out the BW portion.

SG Rodimus (uses the Rodimus Prime body with the exhaust pipe blasters and raised shoulder joints), armored Ultra Magnus, Perceptor, Astrotrain, dino mode Snarl, vehicle Blast Off, vehicle Vortex.

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

I had no idea. But I was going based entirely on what was locally available... which is very little and dwindling every day.

Yeah, I'm taking more of an interest in them, too. I have been going more towards those Audley figures because the chibi-fied/super deformed/whatever style is not really my jam. But as long as they keep the Wheels line, uh, "rolling", I will be here for it.

The downside of blind boxes is that I pulled the metallic chase Soundwave three times before I got Long Haul to finish Devastator. Hate to think how many pulls it's gonna take me to find Brawl.

And the biggest. I miss those old model kit-like ones (Bandai? Idk). Way back when, I got for a Christmas present the giftset with metallic X and a black Zero and a few alt armors for X (a bit of Googling reveals it was the Double Impact pack, sadly without any Van Damme) and those were pretty cool. Was disappointed when the metallic blue paint started peeling off though, and eventually sold the handful of those I had.

Stumbled onto the part of the box I kept (while, uh, gathering old stored packaging to rescan and throw out), and I remembered how fun they were when I had them. Articulation was good, and they looked like great representations of the designs. Kinda regretting that purge now since I've learned how to paint these; could've just fixed that myself. Hoping Blokees gets around to those, and the aesthetic is more along the lines of the fidelity that seems to be present in the displayed prototypes.

Bought my first Blokees yesterday. Took a random day off work and I decided to drop by my local used/new toy shop. The owner had just put out some Blokees for the first time, and I figured I'd take a stab at getting the Unicron head (which I had been coveting since I saw pictures of it) by buying two random boxes. I've been avoiding buying these for a while, because as fun as they looked, I didn't really need yet another type of Transformer to collect/spend money on/find shelf space for, but the Unicron head was something that I could set up around my Primus/Cybertron.

I DID actually get the Unicron head (very pleasant surprise) and also a robot mode Sludge. And you know what? It WAS fun. The build is simple but satisfying, the resulting figure looks amazing and is super well articulated. They're great little Action Masters. This isn't going to help my already hard-fought resistance to buying these things. If they were not blind-boxed, I think I'd really be in trouble.

Speaking of the Action-Master-ness of them, that is one thing I would definitely buy from this line. If they did a whole set of upgraded Action Masters, I'd be all over that.

Ah, yeah, the Mega Armor series! Like mana from heaven when I was old enough to look into imports and past the point of caring what others thought.

I've got that set around somewhere, though I never assembled it. I always liked the orange Ray Splasher version of X. Seeing that in the back of a Diehard GameFan led to a dream that inspired one of my earliest fan characters.

Good times. It was torture seeing these everywhere here and not having a budget for them. But then I realized they weren't going to be doing everyone (and indeed, "how could they" is always the question for any Mega Man toyline, which is partly why I'm pulling for a Defender version series since that'd be far more feasible). (I'd totally forgotten that they made a few Volnutts.)

I may try to track a loose one down or something; I think I remember seeing some of the stuff in storage over the holidays. But I'd definitely be down to try a Blokees take if it brings a good aesthetic, better build quality and painted details instead of stickers.

My local comic shop has been carrying all the Transformers Blokees (you go in, and you can pick up one from EACH series. Of BOTH Galaxy and Defender!) and they had series 9!

Picked up two boxes (after weighing them in hand) hoping for Unicron (planet), and ended up with Unicron(!) and Bombshell.

A quick picture request, if anyone has a Galaxy TF: One Sentinel Prime, could you get a photo of his head compared to the head of the Earthrise Trailbreaker mold? Ideally the blue Diaclone version, but any would do

Fair warning. The balljoint socket on the Blokees head will fit the balljoint in the neck, but it's too shallow and so it won't click into place. I had to use a bit of sticky tack to get it to stay in place, but if you're ok with that then it's still pretty functional.

Thank you much! That's a better match than I could have hoped for.
