Saved this old photo from years ago. Never knew who the original owner was, though.

All Deluxe Arcees are compromised in some way. It just comes down to what compromises you're willing to tolerate. For me? I opt for ER because she is, at the very least, fun in robot mode.

Oh, absolutely. I have a few Transformers that are pretty much one-mode-only toys, and she's one of them. She looks good in both modes, it's just not so much an actual transformation as it is "wad up a robo-barbie and clip on some car parts that had previously been uninvolved. That said, I'm glad to have an accurate looking Arcee to hang out with my other movie figures.

I usually need my Transformers to transform. Even if I never actually do it, there's this "need" of mine to know I COULD. Still, ER Arcee is the closest I've gotten to going for a conversion kit that would essentially remove her transformation.
I'm open to HasTak blowing my mind with the definitive Generations Arcee at some point, but until then? ER will do, if only because she's a pretty fun Arcee robot.

Quickstrike’s pretty much perfect all things considered. He’s a lot more toony in beast mode than the previous BW cast in generations but then again, his beast mode is made-up. Decent articulation and fantastic colors and detail make him a standout. Wish the scorpion legs were a tiny bit longer or sculpted different since the belly scrapes the ground but eh.

Last pic is with the LED lighting. Makes bright colors richer which makes sense because it’s advertised on the box as making fish coloration look better. Not sure if I prefer it to the regular fluorescent lighting I have in my room seen in the other shots.

This AotP Quickstrike has got Masterpiece levels of replication of his on-screen design. I also appreciate the upscaling of his size too.

This reminds me, is there any stated connection between Shockwave and Amalgamous? Given their heads share similar design cues, I'm curious if that's intentional, or they were just going with a more alien and robotic design for Amalgamous and the similarity to Shockwave is just happenstance?
