If anyone needs the Devvy kit for the Defender class, there's a store here that has a stack of them. $5 each. I'm happy to help hook people up

I'm out till after christmas. Not cause there's a chance of people getting them for me (there isn't.) but because the money is budgeted pretty tight till boxing day.

Decided to try out one of the Classic size kits, picked up Megatronus to check out. Not bad for the price; build and final figure are more or less on par with a basic HG Gundam or 30 Minute Missions guy, for (at my FLCS) about sixteen bucks.

I found a couple assemblies a little jank - the hip shrouds were really tight to get together - and the light-up feature doesn't work on my copy; but since all it'd light up is his eyes I'm really not too bothered. I am amused that it's the same light-up torso block as the smaller figures buried in there though. Colors are pretty nice with the two shades of purple and the gold, articulation is sufficient, and so are the accessories.

Probably won't do any more of the bigger kits, but he was worth checking out. My thing is that he's at the size of actual deluxe-class transforming figures (granted at a fraction of the current prices), and I prefer at that size they actually transform. Still looks good though, and is of size parity with my 1:144 shelves, so he can go hang with the Gundam baddies. He certainly looks the part of a one-off bad guy suit!

I just managed to snag the Galaxy Ver. series for TF1 (with Sentinel and the Vehicon) for a REALLY good deal. Like $23 for the case. I'm planning to see if I can mix and match parts to make some generic Cybertronian civilian figures for my collection. 8^)

I put together vehicle mode Scamper and like him way, way more than I expected to. Such a cool-looking and fast-rolling lil dude. I may have to pick up another one to customize.

First shining; Ramjet! And got dang does he look good.

Feel good cause I'm nicely recovering from the migraine, and I slept really well: so I opened the galaxy box.

I've opened three of them total and have two ironhides... damnit.

I received this order yesterday. (Finally, but it was over the holidays, so that was understandable.)

The listing was for the entire 9-piece wave/case. I received 1 piece. Bitterly disappointed, initiated Amazon return, left 1-star review of seller. /sigh

I'm not sure why I'm considering getting the Action Edition Tarn just to keep Nickel and flip the bulk of the kit. But in the absence of comparatively priced mainline alternatives for Nickel, I kind of am.

It’s a fair representation. And a little paint will make him pop.

Just opened up my first few Defender kits (from series 5). How'd it go? Well, I went to the Blokees website and ordered the set of all of series 1-3 plus the Devastator kibble.
