As did I! Looking forward to these a bunch. This whole "Timelines" line is a super cool concept.
It's honestly not my thing, but my nephew is SUPER intro trains and Transformers (almost every mini-bot I have has been borrowed and put on Thomas tracks), I had this on preorder immediately as I knew he wouldn't see it in stores, and I plan to do the same whenever Bumblebee/Megatron pops up.

Robo-falcon isn't a perfect bird, but I've bought much worse. Optimus is made out of pure mother's love and I won't hear any different. These are an instant buy from me, and I'm super excited to see what they have in store for Megatron and Bumblebee. This is exactly the sort of thing I wanted to see from this line.
Just noticed that Starscream's null rays are now Japanese Tanegashima matchlock rifles
Starscream is Kingdom Airrazor but worse in every metric. That’s kind of impressive.
i’d also hazard thst it’s not mean to be a falcon but a crow given the Japanese mythological association between crows and tengu.

Oxtimus Prime is great, but that Starscream is causing me mild pain just looking at it.
Based on the box art, I would saw definitely Falcon and not crow...
Optimus oddly reminds me of this toy I had as a kid:
I used to stand the tractor on end and stand the bull on his hind legs and make them Transformers. Or more aptly Transfarmers, I suppose.
Anyway, it's pushing some nostalgia buttons that will be hard to fight.

It helps, for me anyway, that he's not turning into an organic falcon, but a robotic approximation of one. I can forgive a lot that way.
I was prepared to not care about any of this but Prime's transformation is ingenious.
Red Bull Optimus Prime is intriguing, especially for turning into so much at once.
That Starscream is okay. But sigh, they actually made a samurai-themed retool of this mold and it has nothing to do with BM Silverbolt.
Would much rather have new characters, but them's the breaks with this line.

That Optimus is amazing; super surprised to scroll down and see that robot turn into that.
The Starscream is equally terrible though, really on the fence about whether it's worth the 2-pack price just to get Optimus.

If it helps, fan-waving Starscream's arm cannons are matchlock arquebuses.
I hope Megatron's robot mode has a topknot and he looks like he's wearing a hakama and kimono. Or just a hakama and a fairly lean upper body. And that this gets a redeco later on as Bludgeon or Banzai-Tron.
