Yeah, dragon-to-robot transformation is underwhelming, but since he also can come apart and recombine with any number of other figures as either an upgraded version of himself or as armor for other robots, it doesn't really bother me at all. He does enough things OTHER than transform that a crappy transformation is forgivable.

It kinda looks like his dragon head folds back to reveal his robot head, and then his legs extend a little bit, remove the tail to use as a sword, and that's it. Simple, but his appearance is still cool enough.

It kinda reminds me of the simple transformation of Dark Dragon/Drago Draconus from DinoZaurs.

I think the hips also swivel 180. His dragon crotch is different from his robot crotch.

I'm not proud of that last sentence.

I really dig the vague TM2 Megs vibes of that chest design. It's almost a mashup of that and RID Megatron. With, uh, eyes from TM Megatron that make me unable to unsee those gold details on top as eyebrows.

If there were maybe one more articulation bend in the limb bots (their hip joints maybe) you might finagle a chicken-leg for the combined dragon mode, with the clawtoes being the "foot". Of course, no idea how stable that would be.

So, uh... Episode 10 of Wild King was set to release back on September 24, and apparently it did, but there's a bit of a catch. Checking the Wild King playlist on TakaraTomy's YouTube channel, they've made Episode 10 a hidden video, likely geoblocked for regions outside of Japan, for some reason.

Wonder if that was accidental? They're free to watch, so what would be the point of geoblocking them, especially starting at ep. 10?

There's never a good reason for geoblocking. It just happens anyway sometimes.

Hasbro did the same thing with Cyberworld from the start.

Maybe there are some sort of media distribution rights considerations? That's the only reason I can think of. Kind of silly considering it's not only being given away for free, but is essentially a commercial.

I'm still disappointed that the subtitle effort appears to have died out. I was really appreciating being able to watch and understand them.
Yeah, I'd been waiting for the subs to continue myself, might just need to go ahead and watch the raws now after all.

Usually, Hasbro Transformers media properties are always blocked in Japan if those properties are exclusively owned by Hasbro. This means (thankfully?) many mobile TF games have been blocked in Japan, plus shows or media directly linked to toys that weren't released in Japan and/or had a Japanese version of that show (so basically all of them), such as Cyberverse, etc. However, announcement videos and ads made by Takara/Hasbro themselves are usually globally available.

This is why I have always asked TF sites to include third party uploads to (legally) free official TF content at YouTube, as our global user base is not just American and vice-versa.
