I will be picking this up as well. I had considered cancelling my Thundercracker with Reflector since I already have the BotCon Legends scale versions or Reflector, but now with Skywarp confirmed, I think I'll hang on to the preorder. I didn't get Starscream, but I already have 2 versions of him anyway.

I've said this before, but I'll say it again. I know grey-chested Bombshell is cartoon-accurate, but I still find it to be a huge downgrade from the purple.
It just ruins the uniformity of the team.
I'm glad grey Bombshell is happening at multiple levels now for people who do want it, and if only so the option is there...
I was going to get this and the Thundercracker/Reflector set, but with the new Seeker mold coming I don't really feel the need for more of the Earthrise Seekers.

Bombshell already kind of does that when he's not exactly cartoon colors. Hasbro's half measure with the purple chest but cartoon colored head, makes him deviate too much that you might as well go full cartoon and make him gray as well.
I don't really care so much about whether a new toy is accurate to the original toy, accurate to the cartoon/comic, or is just a new take on things. I just want it to look good, both on its own and with its team or group if applicable. As an example, my PotP Swoop is the Red Swoop with the limbs and dino head from the retail release. I love how the red chest helps him mesh with the rest of the team. However, the clear dino head, while accurate to the original toy, breaks up that unity. So does the slightly lighter gray on the limbs. Swap a few parts, though, and I have a Dinobot team that I still prefer to the SS86 team in some ways.
For me, gray Bombshell completely fails on both fronts. He looks incredibly boring on his own and doesn't mesh with the rest of the team. He's a bit of battle damage away from fitting in better with the dead bots collection. Like those, I have no interest in this one either.
I think this helps settle my decision on the other DC Decepticon set as well. I have an order in for TC and Reflector, but I was waiting to see what would happen with this set. I like the painted tailfins on TC and the camera accessories decoed to match the cartoon Reflector. But if I'm not going to get this set, I think I'm going to be good sticking with the WfC bots for all of them. I'll wait for the full reveal to verify, but then I'll probably be cancelling my other order.
