That's not the actual name of the episode. None of the titles on YouTube for any of the Cyberworld episode uploads have been the actual correct names for any of the episodes.

It's the title the upload is using that the article's about. If and when that changes that can get reported too, or edited into this article.

For whatever reason, the actual episode titles have been left out of the episodes themselves, so series writer Ali Lightfoot has been having to reveal the episodes' titles in tweets.

It really makes no sense why the actual titles are omitted from the videos, even if YouTube wants to make their own in the text descriptions.

...Why does Hasbro keep making the Beasts into the bad guys?

I don't know, this is something I just noticed. All the antagonists in Cyberworld are Beasts, even Megatron Beef Mode. And all the protagonists are vehicles. Almost just like RID15. (If I had a nickel for every time this happened, I'd have TWO nickels! Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.)

Does Hasbro think we WANT this? Do they think this is a Scrappy Doo situation? Did Hasbro take the "Trukk not munky" memes too seriously? I mean, I guess the "Rise of the Beasts" movie flopped, so maybe they think people don't like Beasts?

I guess it's a easy way to get vehicles AND beasts into the same toyline. But, it's almost weird they never flip the factions every once in a while. I don't know, this is probably nothing, but now I can't help but see it. Could someone at Hasbro have a axe to grind against the Beasts?

Well, even Grimlock and Snarl are fighting against Optimus's team. They're antagonists, even if they are Autobots on paper.

Starscream's a outlier, I'll admit. Unless he gets a alt-mode change in the series as a plot point or something. Or unless Starscream actually ends up joining Optimus's team.

It's not totally consistent. But, it is mostly consistent. I know this is not a unique observation, other people have probably pointed out the similarities to RID15 before. It's just hitting me now, for some reason.

Maybe it IS just as simple as trying to appeal to RID15 nostalgia. I mean, the kids who grew up watching RID15 are probably nostalgic 20-somethings now.

RID15? Grimlock was a prisoner, but he wasn't antagonistic to Bee's crew.

Are we supposed to treat the published title as less official than an intended but unused title we only know about from a tweet? If that how TFWiki is going to handle it? Are the most prominently displayed titles not going to match what people are going to see if they try to find the episodes at the only channel that has them?

Marvel G1? Ratchet nursed them back to health in their proper debut and they helped him defeat Megatron.

Slag may have initially attacked Ratchet upon first being woken up, but only because Slag was confused and immediately halted his attack when he realized Ratchet was a fellow Autobot.

YouTube keeps changing the titles of the videos. The video with the first episode uploaded by itself went through three different titles ("Rumble in the Jungle" to "Jungle Face-Off" to "Jungle Escape") within two and a half hours of its initial upload, while the video for Episode 2 by itself had its title changed ("Bumblebee and Megatron Team Up in Target Challenge" to "Bumblebee vs Megatron in Ultimate Shooting Match") two days after its original upload.

YouTube does the same thing for uploads of Rescue Bots and Rescue Bots Academy episodes too.

That's actually a fair point. But, even if they do end up being on the same side by the end of the series, it's still another beast-character who's a antagonist for (probably) the majority of the show. It still fits the pattern I'm seeing, at least for now.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if EVERYONE ends up teaming up to fight the real villains by the end of the show. The Quintessons or whoever's behind this virtual video game world. It just feels like a natural way for this show to end. With a "raid boss" as it were.

I don't know. I just think it's probably a conscious choice by someone? Either because they actually do have some resentment towards the Beast-Transformers (which I'm halfway exaggerating, but given how strongly some fans feel about this stuff, is potentially a non-zero possibility). Or because they're playing up the "wild emotions" versus "logical reason" theme. Optimus is clearly trying to be the voice of peace and reason here...to the point of self-parody, even in this newest episode. It's possible they're just going for a more subtle "Lord of the Flies" type thing, with everyone reverting to more savage tribal ways. And their Beast alt modes being a visual metaphor representing this regression. That's probably more of what they're going for?

And I guess if they did it the other way around, with all the good guys being Beasts and all the villains being Machines, that would just be...well...Beast Machines all over again. Which I'm not against, but they have done that already, to be fair. Although, it has been longer since they did things that way.

In fairness, leaked listings for next year have a Scourge Pirate Ship, a Deep Sea Soundwave, a Megatron with Drill (likely a drill tank thing?), and Lockdown, while Optimus Primal and Cheetor are joining the Autobots. With a Hound listings associated with being a Yeti, so it might just be a stylistic choice in this initial wave.

It's entirely possible this "stylistic trend" of vehicles vs beasts continue, or it could just be "the vibe for the year" and we see that trend shift next year.

I think it may just be a convenient quick way to distinguish sides at first. In G1 it was simpler but also not very consistent; the good guys were cars and trucks and the bad guys were jets but also a gun and a tape deck.

Although in this case it may well turn out that the Decepticons have the upper hand because they happened to awaken sooner and take on altmodes that suited the environment and offered better mobility, while the Autobots now have to adapt. At least in Megatron's case, as Sky-Byte may well have always been a shark.
