ALL of the Cyberworld stuff is banned at YouTube in Japan. I've had to watch some of the videos that some kindly people have uploaded to Reddit instead.

Funnily enough, every show that's been banned over here, I've not really bothered with, even if the toys came out much later for them.

I've no time or interest for geoblocking.

So, Hasbro Pulse is doing "Power Days" with some discounts. I was just REALLY amused to see them decide to use, of all things, Cyberworld Armor Up Optimus Prime for the artwork. Because Pulse is NOT going to be stocking Cyberworld.

I had to make a trip to Iowa City and so I stopped at Scheels...

It's a fun toy, probably not worth the $17.99 they had marked on it, but pretty solid. I'll definitely be on the lookout for the smaller figures, though!

I will say, this design would lend itself well to a Giant Purple Griffin figure with some partial remolding...

I thought from previous posts that it was just the mustache that was added to an otherwise Galvatron-y head (there's an image, eh). But that head basically IS Rodimus Unicronus, just with a few tweaks like the circles at the base of the crest and the back-sweeping side fins. The stache, the base helmet shape down to the sides of the head, and the red shades are all right there. If that wing backpack pointed the opposite direction in robot mode it'd add to the vibe even more.

This Return to Dragon Galvatron is baffling, which is very on brand I guess.

Oh, I just meant that while we can freely watch Takara Tomy's Japanese Transformers cartoon stuff, it just seems kinda rude that people in Japan aren't afforded the same courtesy for Hasbro's stuff.

Exactly this. There's really no call for it these days.

Anyway Moustachioed Dragon Jet Galvatron is fun. I dig how out there this line is getting.
It's a shame. The designs all look like they'd be interesting to check out but the budget just isn't there to capture me.

I will probably beat on this horse until it is paste but…
I really wish there was something like “CyberChanger Elite”, something of comparable scale that kept the designs but elevated the engineering. After Core and the RotB Weaponizers, the degree of standardization kind of puts me off because Hasbro has shown the ability to do some solid stuff at this price And scale.

This line DOES scratch a weird itch for me, but I’m probably going to limit it to interesting designs or characters. MechaDragonjet Galvatron is pretty high up, as is the neo-Classic Optimus Prime, and OBVIOUSLY Raging Bulltron. If listings are accurate, I’m probably game for the Beast Wars characters, Lockdown and Jazz.

At least with Cyberworld Galvatron, I see enough design commonality that I could see him being a retool of a theoretical Cybertron Scourge

Don't worry! 20 years from now they'll redo these designs in the main line like they're doing now for the Rescue Bots. Just have to be patient.
