If he is, that might explain it. I actually forgot he originally came with that Reflector set, which was itself a weird decision since, again, Reflector wasn't in Kremzeek's episode.

Yeah, definitely an odd inclusion in both cases, but I'm never going to turn down a "free" Kremzeek.

Eh, given how many accessories over the years have been based on stuff that showed up in one episode of the cartoon, Kremzeek isn't too outlandish.

He's basically in the same league as Prime's energy axe. (Well, okay, maybe a league below because he wasn't in the opening 3-parter, but you get my drift.)

Kremzeek might be the most powerful thing in the G1 Sunbow canon.

The axe has the bonus of being wielded by the Big Good of the series, though. (Of course, we also tend to ignore that he lost the one fight where he used it.....)
It (and the mace) got extra love because in Japan, clips from that fight got into the theme song so they saw the axe and mace a lot more often than English watchers.

They might sucker me with this set. I generally prefer toy decos these days, but I like purple. This may be one of those times to say "Screw collection goals. I just like this one."

And they made a darker Thundercracker. The universe is healing.

Kremzeek sure gets a disproportional amount of merch considering his one appearance.
His episode took place in Japan, so Takara really seems to like him because of that.

They did the thing I was hoping and cast the clear bits in a nice deep green instead of the Stege release’s colorless clear with pale green paint underneath. Thundercracker’s darker than expected but still a nice blue. Reflectors look real good too.

Might just grab this if the price is good. The last set was a good value so if this carries that trend I’m in.
Damn, I do like that. Idk if enough to triple dip (having both Siege sets), but...

I have the opposite preference for some reason. Idk if I only ever caught episodes where he was colored a bright sky blue or the mental image I have is of a generic, heh. But cartoon Thundercracker to me has always been light blue, despite rewatches proving that incorrect.

Might be the AKOM one. But I do still look at the final and think it's a lighter blue, so I'm clearly the problem.

Oh it's definitely a lighter blue than Thundercracker's G1 toy. AKOM just winds up borderline pastel compared to what Toei was coloring him as. But neither are in the same ballpark of the original toy's deep metallic blue.

That's true, and I always liked that distinction. But for some reason there hasn't really been a "cartoon colors" mainline etc Thundercracker toy that's really hit that lightness to suit me (maybe the Robotmasters one), which I realize is because my expectations are not based in the actual reality of the show they ARE being accurate to. (Or maybe I've mentally latched onto the AKOM one.) But maybe that baseline show/toy difference ended up reinforcing that gap for me.
