SDCC 2025 is in full swing, and Hasbro has absolutely come out swinging with strong product presentations for their various iconic brands. Transformers is definitely no exception, as so many corners of the brand are getting a lot of love in the next few months and the next year. Studio Series, Transformers Collaborative, Studio Series 86, and an all-new iteration of the Hasbro-Mattel dual-anniversary bromance collaborations are all getting fascinating and fun new stuff! TRANSFORMERS COLLABORATIVE: HOT WHEELS x TRANSFORMERS MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE x TRANSFORMERS STUDIO SERIES STUDIO SERIES 86 There's also a ton of new reveals that have press info but for which official renders are still forthcoming: Best upcoming toy? Gamespot.com have revealed a slew of upcoming Hasbro exclusives that will be available "exclusively on-site at the Hasbro booth at select conventions, including the New York Comic Con and MCM London" as well as on HasbroPulse.com. And one of them is a $75 exclusive pack featuring a cab-only retool of Legacy Evolution's Commander class Armada Optimus Prime into Nemesis Prime... wielding the Star Saber superweapon itself, comprised of three converting Air Defense Mini-Cons! Still wielding his rifle and arm blasters (as well as the Matrix? Doomstone?), Nemesis Prime features an uncannily distorted new visage. He's also joined, somehow, by Air Defense-colors Runway, Jetstorm, and Sonar in this exclusive pack, all the better to feud with Hot Shot over whether these Mini-Cons stay on the side of good or turn to the dark side. Without any need for light-piping to accommodate a light-up gimmick, the Mini-Cons have no clear plastic and should be a mite less fragile than their predecessors. One hopes the photodegradation of recent years spares them, as well. Are you planning to add this to your modernized Armada collection? Walmart has officially listed Transformers Retro Brawn on their website, which means we can now get a better look at the G1 toy-styled version of the classic macho minibot. This SS86 Brawn retool gives him his classic toy-based bullet head and a dashing shade of forest green more evocative of the original toy. The altmode also has the signature big Autobot logo on the black hood block. Which Brawn do you already have, and which one/s will you have after this sees release? The runup to Walmart's upcoming Collector Con may be heating up, as right after the reveal of a Transformers Retro Seaspray listing, a possible first glimpse at a toy-based Brawn from the same exclusive line has surfaced. And that's definitely a toy-based head and cooler, forest-y green, all right... Shame they didn't get around to retooling the hands into the toy claws, but the rest looks like a neat callback. No site listing or other pictures yet, but we're waiting on those like you are! How many Transformers Retro remakes are on your want list? Allspark Forums Discord Server X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram
YVAN EHT NIOJ We now know what the long-listed Transformers Retro version of Seaspray will look like. As Walmart continues its exclusive line of G1 homages, it's joined by one more upsized Minibot, as listed on their website. An all-new mold unlike the Minibot retools/redecos that have preceded it, this Deluxe class figure will be available as part of Walmart's Collector Con event, which kicks off July 24. Armed with a blaster, this iteration of Seaspray has a deco that calls back to the G1 toy more (as befits the line) with an all-yellow head and dark visor. Nevertheless, Aquaman over here the seafaring Autobot has a sculpt that evokes the animation model's portly design. It's entirely possible that a more cartoon-based redeco may come later, but this being an exclusive is a fair caveat to consider. Whom are you hoping for from the Transformers Retro line? Apparently the ol' Earthspark still glows, because two more upcoming Deluxe class figures have been spotted, so to speak. Listings on Shop.Hasbro.com give us a good look at Cosmos and Spitfire! This new Chaos Terran Spitfire follows on from the one-step figure and the Warrior class figure, but this is Cosmos' first time in the Earthspark toyline. Should be fun to pose him alongside your Animated Wreck-gar! Are you hoping for any more surprises from the Earthspark line? Allspark Forums Discord Server X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram
After a little bit of a break, Marky "Mark" Clonus is back on Instagram, fuelling our desires for new Transformers: Age of the Primes toys by providing us with all-new images coupled with dazzling insights! This week, we have to give his offerings a 3 -- as in Alpha Trion, of course! Let's see what there is to see! "Huh... I expected a lot more bleeding once I ripped out my navel piercing. And a lot less glowing. Neat." "Mr. Cullen? Could I please have your autograph? Oh, I'm nobody special, just a big fan of your work..." "...sweet. eBay, here I come!" "You know I can do that thing the Joker did with a quill in Tim Burton's Batman movie? Just watch... wait, where are you going?! Come on, it's really cool!" "Now, as long as the enemy doesn't have any tiny creatures who can walk through this gap, I'll be perfectly safe. Hmm? 'Titan Masters'? What are those?" "Hey, don't laugh! Tony Stark was a bit shaky on his first time, too!" "Well, okay, I can do that, if it's a matter of gentlemanly etiquette. But who is this 'Zod' you speak of?" "Dangit. My doctor warned me this might happen if I didn't take my pills." or "Hey, think WWE would be willing to sign me if I provide my own pyro?" "AAAAH!!! ONE GOT PAST THE SHIELD! HELP HELP MEEEEEEEEEE!!!" Well, we all had some fun here today. At least, I hope you did. Or was I Trion too hard? Yeah, sorry, I'm hot and tired, so no making with the ha-ha in the headline today. Will I think of something for the article, though? Read on, and find out! The folks all the way over at Takara Tomy have posted a new video to their T-SPARK YouTube channel featuring the newest MPG release, God Bomber from 1988's Transformers: Masterforce! No longer must your MPG Ginrai run around naked as he takes on the forces of such Destrons as Overlord and Black Zarak! if you're familiar with God Bomber's whole shtick, there's probably very little here that will surprise you. He can attach to Ginrai's cab in trailer mode, or connect to Ginrai's trailer to really frustrate traffic -- that is, until you flip the wing-mounted rockets and add effects parts so he can plow through traffic. He also comes with three figures of the Headmaster Junior trio, who can ride inside of him as his own self-propelled vehicle instead of their smelly old Transtectors. But unfortunately, it's standing room only. That's the price of taking public transit, I guess. And for those of you who just like to watch, a decent portion of the video's duration is taken up by showing the step-by-step process of converting him to robot mode, as well as into a spiffy new power suit for Powermaster Prime's Pacific parallel persona. Better than anything Hasbro has committed to paper in some time, at that! Via Google Translate, the description adds the following (slightly cleaned up for consistency's sake): Not mentioned is that he apparently comes with the sword he is briefly shown holding in the video, the "God Blade" according to TFWiki. Why? I don't know, I still need to watch Masterforce. I can only assume because everyone and everything is better with a sword. Just look at He-Man. Nobody really cared when he was just swinging an axe around until he held aloft a magic sword and started screaming his head off while static-popping his cat with the tip. Maybe Super Ginrai can do a similar thing with it before buffing up into God Ginrai, yeah? Hey, it's your toy (assuming you buy one), don't let anyone tell you what to do. So, yeah. That's the long and the short of it. Did I bring the funny? Probably not. We'll probably get shut down if anyone looks at this post, so please don't tell all your friends. If you decide you want one of these, you'd better hop on it quick. Places like BBTS are selling out of pre-orders, but our sponsor TFSource still has some slots for the Ginrai Box Set left ahead of its September release! Oh, and if you want to talk about this, we've got comments below, and we've got not one, but two other potential places to do so! Hop on over to "Masterpiece Theater: the MP thread" for all sorts of Masterpiece-related discourse, or hit up the "Japanese Transformers News" thread if you're interested in what else is happening over there. Takara Tomy has psted the first full set of images of Synergenex Transformers Macross crossover Basara Prime. The figure converts from Basara Nekki's red VF-19 Excalibur Custom Variable Fighter to Gerwalk Mode (a staple of Macross), a special ground mode with wheels, or guitar-playing robot mode. His microphone-equipped stage can convert to a trailer reminiscent of Rodimus Prime's that can connect to the ground-vehicle form of the main figure. The robot mode head has three face options: neutral, smiling/singing, or Optimus-style faceplate. See the pictures below for more details. UPDATE: More Stock Photos added. Greetings, Cyber-warriors! It's been a hot minute since we last checked in on Hasbro's new stopgap to fill in time until The Next Big Thing in Transformers multimedia, Transformers: Cyberworld, and that's no bull. This is: Kidding aside, the cartoon debuts in about two weeks, and has piqued interest after the initial rollout of toy reveals underwhelmed. And while we were ooh-ing at Studio Series and aah-ing at Age of the Primes, a few new entries in the line almost managed to sneak by us. Have a look-see! All of you who said Mirage wasn't a pretool of Starscream? Pay up. This is but a small cut -- 'tis but a flesh wound, if you will -- of what Entertainment Earth has in store, with pre-orders open and many more official product shots for all four of the above 4-inch Cyber Changers, as well as the Scorponok Strike Battle Figure playset. Go have a look! Then you can talk about how much cooler this Optimus looks than the other one, or how much Chop Shop there reminds you of that Beast Wars Happy Meal toy you had as a kid below, or in our handy-dandy "Transformers: Cyberworld, Mecha Anime Bulls for Days" thread in the trusty Allspark forums, which is where I found out about this new hotness in the first place! ICYMI*, the DL** is that TLS*** is bringing back MASK****, with W1***** at BBTS******, including SDCC*******! * In Case You Missed It ** Down Low *** The Loyal Subjects **** Mobile Armored Strike Kommand (yeah, we know) ***** Wave 1 ****** Big Bad Toy Store ******* San Diego Comic-Con But for real, the full news is that on July 1st, Big Bad Toy Store -- that's right, the same affiliate who advertises on our front page, and who you can help the Allspark with by using our special affiliate link when you place an order there -- will open up pre-orders for the new reival of the M.A.S.K. toy line. Now, this isn't your father's M.A.S.K. -- at least, assuming your father grew up with the IDW incarnation of the franchise. No sirree, T-Bob, this one is going back to the originals from the '80s. So, maybe your grandfather's M.A.S.K.? Feel free to A.S.K. (Ask Some Kuestions) the next time you see him, I guess. Among other brands that Hasbro can't be bothered with, but are still only too happy to collect licensing fees from, The Loyal Subjects is taking the reins on this release and making the toys themselves. And to kick things off, that includes a special San Diego Comic-Con version of the Rhino Mobile Defense Unit. Here's what they have to say about that: If it's like the one I had as a kid, it's a sure treat for anyone who owns it. Heck, it may even top mine -- this one looks like it supports effects parts! Take that, mid-'80s toy company who made lots of cool stuff and got swallowed up and oh now I've made myself sad. Anyway, we've mirrored some pics of the Mobile Defense Unit here, but head over to ToyArk to see the rest of the goodies from the first wave of toys that you can pre-order (remember, use the link!) from BBTS beginning July 1st! Thanks to Steevy Maximus for the tip! What do you think? Are you going to M.A.S.K. up on July 1st, and show some valor to V.E.N.O.M.? Maybe put Miles through some Mayhem? Tell us about it in the comments below, or in the aptly-named "The Loyal Subjects to relaunch MASK, and other Legacy Hasbro Brands" thread on our forums, where I learned of this hot tip! Okay, guess it's up to me to -- an hour long?!? I don't get paid enough for this. Yep, it's time once again for another Hasbro Pulse Transformers Tuesday Fanstream, with Nate from Marketing for Action Brands and Evan Designer, who I'm assuming is Mark Designer's brother or something. And they're here to reveal everything we've been talking about for weeks and months now, such as Studio Series '86 Megatron! Everything shown today is available now for pre-order, and no exclusives! They also have a poll that they're really interested in your feedback on, and are even answering some fan comments. Heeeeere's Megsy! And they say yes, people ask about him being a "blaster" all the time, but he's a tank due to legal stuff. Funny bit about how when he first revealed it, Evan was going to just put the handheld gun version on the table next to the robot and talk about the marvels of mass compression, but sadly, leakers had to spoil all that fun. He has butterfly hinge articulation, if you're into that. The version of a tank he's based on is a prototype from the '80s called the "armored blaster system" ("or something like that"). Wanted to make sure they got the hip skirt flaps on there. Last Leader wave for Studio Series in 2025. Due to high demand, they're rerunning Studio Series '86 Grimlock with Wheelie. The Studio Series for Transformers: War for Cybertron rolls on with a full trio of Seekers, as Thundercracker joins Starscream and Skywarp. They not only wanted to give them each different expressions, but noticed in the games their eye colors were different from one-another, and so they wanted to reflect that, too. Miiiiiiiix It'smaster! I mean, iiiiiiiiit's Mixmaster! And he's a Voyager so as to better support Devastator. Some jokes about being a classic '80s cement mixer, rather than the modern kind you can't tell whether they're driving backwards or not. Scavenger joins in on the fun, and they talk a bit about what goes into determining size class, and how Voyager affords them more that they can do with the internals. Like ratchet joints that can support five other robots. It's Devastator! Smaller than Combiner Wars, but with modern articulation and cartoon accuracy! It's Devastator! And how he scales to Studio Series '86 Optimus Prime and Grimlock! They design the Combiners all at once, but for logistics reasons, they had to boot the last part of Menasor to a different release wave, while here, they wanted to make sure to get everyone out within the same year. If you're planning to get these, you'll probably want to do it sooner than later, as they said there are currently no plans for a gift set in 2026 or 2027, the latter of which they're already "knee-deep" into planning. That isn't to say they'll never do one, but if they do, you're going to be waiting a while for it. Possibilities for redecos include Generation 2 and toy-accurate. It's Elita-One, star of the move Transformers One! You can tell, because her name is in the title! Comes with tracker blaster and jetpack. Has knees, ankles, and a unique transformation where her wheels split in half so part of them can form part of her chest. Or back, really. Torso. I scream, you scream, we all scream for Starscream. Transformers One Starscream, specifically. Despite what we've heard about the movie's sequels (i.e. ain't gonna be any), they say they're interested in continuing to flesh out the line. Sounds like they want to do all the Seekers, but Big Hollywood complicated that a little by giving them each unique designs. "Expect that at some point in the future." And the last deluxe for the last Studio Series wave of the year is... This one! The one everyone has been waiting for, right? Well, actually, it's not an Autobot at all! Hailing from Transformers: Age of Extinction, they dug deep into the concepts and pulled out Widowmaker, a KSI drone who we never saw a robot mode for, whose concept would go on to become Stinger, and they basically fleshed the earlier concept out and tweaked the color to come up with KSI Widow. As long as people are digging the concept art figures, they'll keep making them. And not just for the live-action movies, but the '86 Transformers movie and whatever else. Maybe there's hope for Dragon Beast yet? Okay, so they're thinking more in terms of like, Inferno from a cut scene, but hey, a guy can dream, right? They muse about all the Transformers who've sported orange over the years. Write in the comments your favorite orange Transformer! (Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime here.) Next is the Transformers Timelines 2-packs, showing off Optimus and Starscream, as well as Megatron and Bumblebee, who will have "quantities" available on-site at San Diego Comic-Con, but not as an exclusive (that would be the Void Rivals pack). They tease next year's theme for these four characters, saying it'll be something "a little more original". Tell them in the comments which themes you would like to see! Our first look at Studio Series for '26 is Airachnid! Got her down to a Deluxe scale. "Thin, but significant." Movable legs on balljoints. Size comparison with Starscream and Elita-One. These are prototypes, in case you weren't aware. The same ones they base the instructions on! Had to give her heels in order to be able to support herself. But that's not all! Here's a sneak peek at the Voyager-scale Alpha Trion, too! Has sculpted battle damage, grime, etc. so he can look as run-down as he did in the movie. Now, for those comments! "More Combiners" was a common sentiment, with Defensor, Predaking, and Rail Racer getting numerous mentions. Evan feels like Defensor makes sense, what with Bruticus and all, but he's a Technobot stan, so hopefully we get there eventually. For Rail Racer, Evan mused that each piece would have to be a Titan, because Rail Racer "is monstrous". As far as filling out collections, apparently Mudflap and Skids come up a lot. Evan says it's "more of an eventuality," they keep looking to see if it's the right time, but there's nothing yet. "Never say never, I think we'll get there eventually, just not right now." Monstructor: "Maybe he's coming, I promise he won't be dinosaurs." "Potentially coming." Fan Poll Question: "Do you want to see toys of characters from Season 1 and 2 of the G1 cartoon, that did not appear in the 86 movie, in the Studio Series 86 segment?" And they don't just mean guys who were in earlier drafts of the script like Inferno. A simple "yes" or "no" in their comments is all they're looking for on this one. And that's basically the stream! If you want to view it for yourself, have at it: So, what did you think? Leave a comment below, or on YouTube, or in the "Studio Series discussion" thread in our forums. Or heck, all three! Dis-course! Dis-course! Dis-course! Allspark Forums Discord Server Twitter/X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram

On June 10th, 2025, Hasbro Pulse hosted another Fanstream for Transformers on their YouTube channel. Hosted by Nate from Marketing for Hasbro's Action Brands and Mark Designer, pretty much everything they showed off today was already shown off previously -- and only by a matter of hours, thanks to Amazon France. So if you're interested in the publicity stills, then be sure to check out our article on the leaked goods here, as well as here. But that's not what this article is about. In addition to letting you know what's available on Hasbro Pulse for pre-order now, what this is really about is some of the finer details, the stuff revealed that they may not put on the back of the box or clearly disclose via the aforementioned images. Let's get to the good stuff. For starters, everything they showed off is available for pre-order now on Hasbro Pulse. Well, except for the Amazon exclusives, which are available to Pulse Premium members. Kicking things off, they have the first official (?) reveal of the completed Superion, thanks to the arrivals of Fireflight and Skydive. While not a detail, Nate did say they are looking for feedback via the video's comments section on how they're doing with regards to the Commander price point and what other Combiners people want to see. So whether you like what they've been doing or not, there's your cue. Venin, the "true leader of the Insecticons," comes with a blaster and a hatchet that can combine to make an even bigger hatchet. Okay, yeah, they show that on the box. Look, pickings are slim on the trivia side so far, okay? Micronus Prime is a Mini-Con who transforms into a disc that resembles the panels seen in Transformers Armada, which fits into the torso of his exo-suit, which can not only turn into a one-wheeled motorcycle, but also has Weaponizer functionality. So you can pluck off his arms and use them as blasters, or his legs that form the motorcycle's spinning wheel as a Junkion-esque shield (not shown). He also comes with an artifact known as the Chimera Stone, which is that little round piece sticking out of the exo-suit's chest there, and bears his (really tiny) insignia. Next up is Alpha Trion, who comes with a working Covenant of Primus! And by "working," I mean that the pages actually turn and bear Cybertronian text on them, with one bearing an image of Cybertron itself (seen above). The Covenant and quill each have a 5mm peg on it so that anyone can hold them, too. *eyes Beast Wars Megatron* In addition to having an alt mode based on concept art, he can also remove his Autobot symbol, just as he did (as A-3) in the episode "Forever is a Long Time Coming." Neutralize your dark Quintesson hordes with the power of positive brand identification today! (Or whenever this ships.) Flatline is a Decepticon made to be reminiscent of the IDW version of the character. Next up is "the first centaur to ever grace Transformers," Onyx Prime. He comes with his Tryptych Mask Spear, which is his artifact. And while he didn't say what it is, Mark did implore people to collect all of the artifacts, as all of the artifacts have a "special purpose" for Cybertron. Whether he's just talking about the lore behind them, or implying some sort of use with a future release, your guess is as good as ours. That wraps up Age of the Primes at regular retail for 2025, they say, as they move on to a few other goodies. As a part of the "Wreck 'n Doom Collection," the Autobot Sandstorm vs. Slugslinger 2-pack is exclusive to Amazon and Hasbro Pulse. These two are designed to be more animation-accurate than their previous releases, and they also added that they're still trying to "figure out" Misfire to complete the Decepticon side. The G2 Universe Dinobots 2-pack with Slug and Snarl is a fan channel exclusive, including Hasbro Pulse. They also solicited feedback for "the other two you're waiting for," so be sure to tell them what colors you want to see Slash and Skar in! And like the SSSS 2-pack, the Studio Series 3-pack of Megatron, The Fallen, and Soundwave from Revenge of the Second One There is available to pre-order now on Amazon and Hasbro Pulse. And they said there's more to come from the movie Studio Series toys, so there's that. With that, they wrap things up with the promise of more to come soon as they wrap up Studio Series for 2025, and tease some reveals at San Diego Comic-Con as well. As always, you can discuss what you've seen here in the comments below, or head over to the Age of the Primes and Studio Series threads in our forums to see what else has already been said by the community! Let Cybertron's greatest warrior handle this! Hubcap don't put up with no bull!" Working overtime, causing crime. So, what do you think? Quickly following it's leaked listing, we have our first photo of the upcoming Age of the Primes Four Pack. The pack contains: Ultra Magnus - A white repaint of the Deluxe figure modeled closely after the G1 Ultra Magnus inner robot toy Bumper - A remold of Studio Series Bumblebee with a new head. This marks the first official toy of Bumper in the history of the brand, given that his original G1 toy was only ever released (and extremely rarely so) on Cliffjumper packaging. Horri-Bull - A remold of Skullcruncher finishing out the Decepticon Headmasters Nemesis Prime - A repaint of the Voyager Class Legacy Animated Optimus Prime mold in classic Nemesis colors The set can be preordered at Target or at Hasbro Pulse for $89.99 Want to discuss these upcoming toys?
