I've been collecting since I was in my teens. I'm now 45. I've also gone through many a bargain bin and Disc Replay. I have boxes of VHS, shelves upon shelves of DVD/Bluray. I also have a sizable digital library. There is no way I'm cataloguing all of that.

I have got rid of most of my DVDs, but I have a few left. I have a ton of Blu-rays though. Like hundreds of them in nice leather binder sets in my living room, along with my UHD Blu-rays in their own separate binder. I mostly just let them sit there and stream things, and only break them out when the internet goes down to put something on for the kids to watch.
Well movies have finished up most of what I plan to see.
Fast And The Furious and Mission Impossible are done with final chapters.
Trans Formers has 3 more movies after Bumblebee.
TMNT has a 7th coming out after Out Of The Shadows.
For me it's catching up on what's been finished so far on the big screen.

Hundred and hundreds. I don't know everything I have. They're in boxes all over the place.
Nearly caught up for Star Trek. I had seen Beyond and The Last Knight both on Hulu.
Once I get caught up it could be a few years before enough new movies come out on DVD to start buying a few again.
Usually there's at least a 2 to 3 year wait for the next chapter of a movie series to come out.

A LOT, honestly, I have no clue how many films I own on DVD let alone DVDs in general, thou I need a purge at some point and I got a few kind of noted for a purge, mostly stuff I watched once and just don't feel the need to keep around, my collection is kind of, all over the place, but I do know this, I got three crates containing DVDs

Very little point in rewatching the previous TF movies as Rise of the Beasts is very much its own stand alone story with just a few references to the BB movie!
