I know, I know, I hate it when that happens too. I almost titled that article, "Peter Cullen, still alive and well, gets lifetime achievement award!"

Welker deserved it for sure; he's been more voices and sound effects than probably any of us really know.

Not that Peter Cullen doesn't deserve it, too. He's been the iconic voice of KARR in Knight Rider, Ramrod in Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, the intro voice from Voltron, and both Tank and Pincher in Challenge of the Gobots. Plus, he did the voice of that semi truck dude in that other transforming robot show...
