While several states have passed laws regarding the labeling of cultivated meat in recent years, no state has gone as far as the Florida Legislature in banning it outright — though there are similar proposals currently moving in Arizona, Alabama and New Hampshire.

Florida number one.

Very first line of the story is "bill is expected to face legal challenges".

DeSantis previously vetoed a more restrictive version of the bill that would have banned social media accounts for kids under 16. That bill also required Florida residents to submit an ID or other identifying materials in order to join social media.

That's how nutty the Florida legislature is.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

Democrats won't do that because it'll make it look like they don't value floridians, and set a very dangerous precedent for republicans to abuse.

Republicans won't do it because florida is one their test markets for the man made horrors.

Nathan Explosion for governor. Even if it goes as badly as it did in the episode of Metalocalypse, it's still better than DerSantis.
