The figure converts from Basara Nekki's red VF-19 Excalibur Custom Variable Fighter to Gerwalk Mode (a staple of Macross), a special ground mode with wheels, or guitar-playing robot mode. His microphone-equipped stage can convert to a trailer reminiscent of Rodimus Prime's that can connect to the ground-vehicle form of the main figure. The robot mode head has three face options: neutral, smiling/singing, or Optimus-style faceplate.
