Ah, the "Duke Nukem Forever" gambit.I think you still need someone in charge to go "ok you've polished this part as much as it can, move on."
Otherwise you're just on a treadmill nowhere close to completion burning through cash.

If only they actually made it to retail.Considering the strong Quintesson presence in Earthrise at the same time, I've suspected that this game was supposed to come out around then. They were going for brand synergy from the kid line to the collector lines and this game. It was the year of the Quintessons.
That probably was the plan, to see them get released individually, before the game was canceled. When the single Bumblebee was released, the game hadn't yet been officially canceled. But with the game's cancelation, Hasbro probably doesn't feel as strongly inclined to put the other three out individually anymore.I’m still kinda surprised that Hasbro hasn’t released the other three Rise/Reactivate figures from the two, packs as individual releases like Bumblebee. Prime, Screamer and Soundwave were pretty good figures.
It's a shame. The designs are good. Except Soundwave. I don't know what happened there.
I think they sold them in two-packs as they were afraid they wouldn't sell the weaker figures, like Soundwave, individually. However, that increased the price and made me not bother buying Prime. Also, they're wasn't enough (metallic) paint on Prime to get my interest. Nice mold, too expensive, not enough paint, came with a cr*p Soundwave figure.Soundwave is another mold that, even if it was planned as a deluxe all along, it feels like a Voyager crammed into a deluxe, while also having to look as much like G1 Soundwave as possible. It both looks cool, while looking super skinny and hunchbacked. If they’d chosen to stylise the chest door instead of trying to slap it on a truck, you could pretty much keep it mostly the same I think.
I do agree this Prime is one of his best designs. It beefy, its Mad Max, its angry and its still Optimus enough. And the axe is cool.
