How does it go? Well, watch and find out!And if you keep watching, 22 is followed by episodes 21, 20, and 19, in case you're some kind of psycho who spits in the face of chronal continuity. As for my thoughts on the episode (spoilers abound):
After Mirage woos Team Prime over by revealing he knows where Wheeljack is located, we get a little clarity on something that's been hanging for most of the series thus far: Namely, it seems that Starscream only has control over part of the city he dwells in. Presumably, Megatron controlled another part... or the rest. That much is never really made clear.Mirage doens't think Optimus and Bumblebee are as capable of stealth as Elita-1 and himself, so he comes up with a different idea. One that still involves Bumblebee coming with them, but just the same, Big Bot is left to act as a diversion (don't call him "bait"), and decides to remind us that he, in fact, has two toys available now at better toy retailers everywhere by reverting to his original form.Incidentally, YouTube has the title "Optimus Prime vs 100 Drones!", which I thought was going to be a game world thing. But nope; OP is up against a ton of real-life (well, as real as anything in Cyberworld is) droned, all by his lonesome....or is he? Yes. Yes, he is. But, he does have help in spirit, as he dual-wields Megatron's axe alongside his own.I got a chuckle out of Bumblebee asking "What's a potato?" Good question! A nice little bit of humor which reminded me of the G1 cartoon. ("I didn't know human teeth had skin!" -- Bumblebee)Turns out Elita is pretty good at this, especially when she has Mirage's own cloaking abilities to further augment her own sneaking talents. They find Starscream watching his drones go after Optimus, and my first though was "Why don't they just take out Starscream, cutting off the problem at its source, thus helping both Optimus AND Wheeljack at the same time?" Then I realized that I'm not sure what level Starscream is compared to them right now, and that could very much be a deciding factor here. So yeah, focusing on getting Wheeljack out would be the smarter play. Those drones really remind me of <a href="https://www.allspark.com/home/threads/age-of-the-primes-amalgamous-prime-behind-the-scenes.3601/" target="_blank">Amagamous Prime</a>. Marketing synergy, or does everyone behind the scenes of Transformers just love Shockwave? You decide! They find Wheeljack, and he and Elita have a heartfelt reunion. Still wondering if there's something going on between those two. And hey, Bumblebee is here, too! Wheeljack apparently knows him already; I was given the impression earlier on that not all the Autobots really knew each other here, and I believe this is the first time Bee and Jackie have interacted in this series. Maybe there's more to this story than meets the eye?Starscream sics his new "Seeker Drones" on Prime, and it turns out they're one of Wheeljack's better creations, so Big Bot could be in trouble if they don't do something fast.I like the little touch of a background ceiling light flickering before coming on above Wheeljack's head as he gets an idea of how to help Optimus.Looks like Wheeljack and Optimus know each other, too. But the reunion will have to wait, because Starscream is on the way, and he is pissed!Overall, a pretty good episode with a couple of amusing little laughs, and it helped move the plot along nicely as well.
Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "<a href="https://www.allspark.com/home/threads/transformers-cyberworld-i-axed-you-a-question.3280/page-38#post-192259" target="_blank">Transformers Cyberworld: I Axed You a Question</a>" thread in our forums!<table style='width: 100%'><tr><td><a href="https://www.allspark.com/home/forums/" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.allspark.com/home/attachments/allspark-png.24401/" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a><a href="https://www.allspark.com/home/forums/" target="_blank">Allspark Forums</a></td><td><a href="https://discord.gg/allspark" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.allspark.com/home/attachments/discord-png.24402/" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a><a href="https://discord.gg/allspark" target="_blank">Discord Server</a></td><td><a href="https://twitter.com/AllsparkNews" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.allspark.com/home/attachments/xformerlytwitter-png.24403/" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a><a href="https://twitter.com/AllsparkNews" target="_blank">Twitter/X</a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="https://www.facebook.com/theallspark" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.allspark.com/home/attachments/facebook-png.24404/" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a><a href="https://www.facebook.com/theallspark" target="_blank">Facebook Page</a></td><td><a href="https://bsky.app/profile/allspark.com" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.allspark.com/home/attachments/bluesky-png.24405/" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a><a href="https://bsky.app/profile/allspark.com/" target="_blank">Bluesky</a></td><td><a href="https://www.instagram.com/allspark_com/?hl=en" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.allspark.com/home/attachments/instagram-png.24406/" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a><a href="https://www.instagram.com/allspark_com/?hl=en" target="_blank">Instagram</a></td></tr></table> <table style='width: 100%'><tr><td></td><td></td><td></td></tr></table></blockquote>
