The pins on the figures always killed that line to me. I'd give a ton of money to see the 2011 series get a better run of figures.
Supposedly Super7 has hinted that they would be shifting toward that one.

As long as I get TuggMugg first....

Maybe I'm weird, but pins have never bothered me in action figures. It's kind of like listening to music on cassette or on records. The imperfections are part of the charm.

Given Super7's prices... I'll stick with the OG 2011s 😅

Well, it seems like after the Thundercats/Silverhawks crossover there's going to be a bit of a creative shakeup. We're getting a new #1 and a new creative team. Including Greg Pak, of Hulk, Incredible Hercules, and Mech Cadet Yu fame! I do enjoy his work, even though it's kind of a shame to lose the old team. But, they had a decent run.

...And also a...interesting new look for Lion-O.

That's not just one artist's interpretation, either. All the covers feature Lion-O in this new "beefy barbarian" look. It's....different, at least? I don't know how I feel about it yet. I might need to see what it looks like in the comic, itself.

Also, some slight spoilers for the end of the Thundercats/Silverhawks crossover...

It seems like a few of the Silverhawks are going to be joining the team from here on out! It's good to see the Silverhawks get a little bit of love!

So, it seem like all 3 teams are going to be merged together after the crossover. The main Thundercats team, the "Lost" Thundercats team, and the Silverhawks team. That could be fun. Shakes up the status quo a little. Mumm-Ra might even be more of a focus in this era of the comic, just going by the cover.

Then comes the secret reveal: Mumm-Ra and Mon-Starr were the SAME GUY the whole time and they engineered all this to make the Claymore of Omens so utterly bulky and unwieldy that it is no longer a threat to Mumm-Ra since it keeps getting left in the Thundertank's trunk rather than try to carry it around, while the Eye of Thundera is so big Mon-Starr powers up just looking at it with the wrong eye.

Ok I'm up for Barbarian Lion-o but if I don't see some Tigersharks in this Silverhawk/Thundercats book I will be sad.

-ZacWilliam, also Greg Pak is great, looking forward to that.

I know Pak from a female Adam Warlock 4 issue mini and ... did he do the Hercules ongoing after Hulk's title was stopped after the end of World War Hulk?

Yeah, he writes well and has some sense of humor. Hope how he does Thundercats is good.

Pak has a pretty huge Bibliography to the point where it's kinda hard to summarize:

He did Planet Hulk, and World War Hulk. He created Amadeus Cho and did Incredible Hercules and Totally Awesome Hulk. And probably wrote any return to those characters or situations you've seen.

Did a ton of important X-Men minis for a bit. He wrote a huge swath of Marvel's Star Wars stuff for a long time when they first got the liscense and was very well regarded there.

He's done a bunch for DC and a lot of smaller stuff as well for multiple companies. Recently did "The Spectacular Spider-men" at Marvel and I think the most recent thing I saw him on was the Gargoyles x Fantastic Four crossover.

He's been a big name writer in the industry since the early 2000s so there's probably other big stuff he did I'm forgetting.

-ZacWilliam, It's actually a really good get for a Thundercats comic.
