To be fair, it’s not the same people complaining about clear windows who are asking for the stickers.
I just question the utility of cel shaded windows when the intent is clearly the original toy. Even more so when they give you three sets of them.

After a couple weeks being lost in the mail, my Shrapnel and Bombshell showed up. Now just have to track down a Ransack and wait if Hasbro actually does a Venom.
Wonder if Hasbro in the 80's specifically chose the deluxe insecticon molds because their altmodes were the same as the Sunbow trio.

You're not wrong. It comes in multiple boxes and you have to put the thing together with bolts and a hex key like something from IKEA.

I'm definitely going with Toyhax for the details, but I'm going to give the chrome marker a shot. I'll just go really slowly.
The only real tricky parts are the bumper and thighs. Other spots don't have enough surface area for uneven marks to be noticeable. If it's a Gundam brand marker, you can press it down for a second or two to let the paint overflow a bit then spread it over the area. That helps make it smoother and avoid penstrokes.
It's hard to see in pics but in person, the stuff is really close to chrome.
