I tend to like outrageous colours.... but neon blue has never done it for me
I ragequit buying MP after MPM ironhide. The toys regularly exceeding $300 made me stop even looking up new releases.
Good question. I don't think I've ever seen an in-hand picture of MP Skyfire. I remember Newage's Jetfire came out around the same time and made every other option look lame.

I love that these things exist. I haven't actually bought one yet but the Beast Megs is super tempting, and I always did love Bruticus. Hope the colors are a bit darker on the final product.
The mold doesn't look great but it has Battle in a Box Magnus colors. Might actually bite depending on price.

That design just doesn't say "artistic license" to me. It screams "I don't need no stinking reference image. I remember what he looks like."

Considering the original is a time bomb, and there are no official reissues of anything that big anymore, it's probably the only way you'll get a G1 Black Zarak.
There's a good chance that the original mold is long gone and Takara couldn't sell you a legit reissue even if they wanted to.
