Toys It's Magnin' Time! First Stock Images of Missing Link Ultra Magnus

From R/Transformers on Reddit, we have our first look at Takara Tomy's stock images of Missing Link Ultra Magnus. This image not only shows off some of Magnus's newfound articulation, but also gives us our first look at the new Diaclone inspired Powered Buggy in robot mode.

Other than Prime, this is probably the one Missing Link figure I want. Well, this and any hypothetical Powered Convoy repaint in the future.

Anyway, I'll probably never own one, but this has shot up to the top of my most-desired Missing Link toys with Arcee.

Powered Buggy really ties everything together, especially the idea of Magnus being a beefed-up successor to Optimus. Between that and the undocumented extra modes, we got hosed back in '86, and I want to make up for lost time.

Same here. The price will likely keep me from getting it, but I've never had a complete G1 Magnus, and I love the idea of finally getting a "he was there, was always just offscreen" G1 Powered Buggy.

I imagine someone could get creative and do better, barring tariff fees, but I can't swing it.

And maybe Powered Buggy WANTED to be in the show, so he changed his alt mode to be a big version of his own head, for advertising, and even converted his diaclone pilot into ANOTHER copy, only to have it goofed up when the animators for Rebirth gave him the wrong face, and the writers changed his name to Cerebros. He was so bitter he walked and Season 3 got canned as a result.

Could've been fun to name this version of Powered Buggy a variation of Blue Bolts.
