(I'm particularly fond of the LED cockpit.)</p><p></p><p>The campaign runs through August 14th, with an expected shipping period of late Fall 2026. It requires 8,000 backers to fund, and is well on its way with 5,057 as of this writing.</p><p></p><p>And I'm writing about it for a few reasons:</p><p></p><p>1) I had the original toy when I was a kid, and really liked it.</p><p></p><p>2) I don't collect <em>G.I. Joe Classified</em> (I can barely keep up with <em>Transformers </em>I want these days), but man, this thing looks neat!</p><p></p><p>3) Funny cartoon snake-man made with the ha-ha's.</p><p></p><p>4) What made me look at this in the first place: There being <a href="https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Snow_Cat_(Energon)" target="_blank">a Transformer of some degree of popularity who turns into this very vehicle</a>, so I thought it might have some crossover appeal based on that alone.
