Customs Generations-style AoE Galvatron

So SS '86 Galvatron had me in a bit of a pickle. His deco was PERFECT. Pretty much my mind's eye of what I wanted a toon coloured Galvatron to look like. He was an instant get as soon as I saw him... except I already had a purple Galvatron. Granted, the Kingdom version's deco wasn't perfect, but I had him. I also had the Selects version in the toy deco. So Selects for toy, SS '86 for toon... where did that leave my Kingdom version?

Thankfully Twitter had my back.

The idea was perfect. And honestly? I'm not an Animated fan. While I admire the show's writing, the art style- and thus the toys- were never my cup of tea. And I'm maybe one of five people in the fandom who doesn't see the big deal over the BotCon Animated Stunticon set. So I was ready to skip Legacy Animated Motormaster entirely.
Until I saw that custom. And had to give it a go. That Kingdom Galvatron's purple matches up with Legacy Animated Motormaster's purple pretty nicely just sealed it.

The biggest challenge is that the Animated Prime/MM mould's balljoint is too big for Kingdom Galvatron's balljoint socket. So I had to remove the mould's original balljoint and attach Kingdom Galvatron's balljoint on with a lot of super and gorilla glue. Once it was on, however, it worked. And Galvatron's head fits in the cavity meant for Motormaster's head. I opted to keep his axe, since IDW1 Galvatron was fond of battleaxes, so this is a slight two-fer on the homage front.

The final touch, which the Twitter post that inspired this didn't do, was to remove the toy's stock Decepticon symbol on the right shoulder and applied a reprolabel 'Con emblem to the chest between the windows. One, I didn't like the purple on black 'Con symbol. Didn't stand out. Two, the mould is already an Optimus design, so moving the faction symbol from the shoulder to chest helps give Galvy a bit more of his own look.
