I know the name Mona Lisa Overdrive, but i’v4 never heard of Count Zero. phillip K. Dicks short stories do take a bit of getting used too, since are varying degrees of different from the films they inspired.
I decided to give Snow Crash a shot. So far so good. It's a bit easier to follow than Neuromancer so far. But I'm only on the third chapter, soooooo.
I agree, and saw something similar on a "sci-fi for non-sci-fi fans" list once - more or less, "Neuromancer is more prototypical cyberpunk, but it's also kind of a deadly bore."I just finished chapter 24 of Snow Crash. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed Neuromancer. But I'm enjoying Snow Crash a lot more. It's a lot easier to read and peppers in a good bit of humor.
