I don't even know what Galaxy Version S is (edit: apparently it's an improved 10cm kit), but DO DEFENDER VERSION, YOU COWARDS

Thanks! I know very little about these toys, other than what gets posted here.

Honestly, I'm in the same boat, so I'm really not the best source of information on them either. I've bought a handful here and there when I run into them at a store and am feeling impulse-buy-ish, but I don't really follow or hard core collect them or anything.

In this wacky economy, I feel like Blokees is really good at scratching my "I want a cool new figure, but not one that I have to dip into my grocery budget for" itch. As mentioned earlier though, I don't collect the robot modes; it's been Unicron(s) and Ark(s) and Wheels only, so far, and I can't wait for Motormaster!

Probably wise. If you start in on the robot modes you'll end up with going completist on Galaxy Version and Defender and probably get a good chunk of Classic/Champion Class and possibly even Action Edition and you'll also be vulnerable to getting infected with Astral Rally.

It has done this for me, mainly at Defender scale. Everything else, including Wheels, is above the price that makes that easy. But the blind boxing has definitely held me back from going all in; about half of my Defender version stuff has been acquired secondhand/opened, with the other half sealed sets that I then sold the extras from.

This is shifting further away as the local price for Defender version has gone up juuuust enough that it's no longer as conducive to impulse buying.

Iirc the Galaxy range does have similar ball joint and 5mm hand grip sizes to, say, the Sesame Street ones. Idk about Galaxy S.

I hope someone there stumbles upon the goldmine of Mega Man Defender versions soon. The Robot Masters will call for unique tooling, but for weaponed up Mega Man? That's the easiest mold-sharing repaint fodder EVER, and completism is a not-insignificant multiplier. And these use less plastic than the 10cm ones.
