I've made some games with old versions of RPG Maker and am currently working on one that I'm not ready to talk about yet.

The reason I'm starting this thread now is to get this out there.

RPG MAKER WEB FORUM will be shutting down on December 11, 2026 as it will be replaced by a new forum RPG MAKER GUILD which will be operated by Gotcha Gotcha Games. There will be no archive or backup of the forum so original operators KOMODO recommend users to save content before the closure.

I don't know what it is with so many people wiping their forums and starting over. The internet is slowly dying because all of its useful information is being systematically scrubbed on a whim.

RPG Maker feels like something I would totally get sucked into, but then I'd get frustrated when it doesn't have the exact asset I want and would crave being able to make/draw it myself.
