Energon Universe - ongoing Transformers and G.I. Joe comics from Skybound

I mean, it likely won’t for a few reasons A. The story is already in motion, so there’s no need to set everything up. B. Void Rivals is a brand new IP, meaning the world and characters all need to be established, which takes time C. Transformers is a different kind of story than Void Rivals...

A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far Away.... - Star Wars General Discussion

My interpretation was that they were forcibly conquering world who resisted imperial rule, whether as separatists or just planets who did not want to recognize the Empire

Maybe I missed it, but I thought the only thing they got from his shop was how his radio system worked, which is what allowed them to track down Kleya. I may be mistaken, but it didn't seem like there was anything else valuable (intelligence wise) there. As for why it wasn't rigged to blow...

    Thunderbolts*

One interesting thing I noticed in this movie: Originally, Steven Yuen was cast to play Bob in Thunderbolts* before departing the movie due to scheduling conflicts.

A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far Away.... - Star Wars General Discussion

The way I've always viewed it is that the Battle of Yavin was the significant turning point in the war with the Empire, and it was used as a dating system much, much later. Each Star Wars movie starts with "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away", so the idea is that this story is being told...

    Superman (Legacy)- Summer 2025

Very encouraged by this trailer. I like what I see of the tone. Hoult's Luthor looks really compelling so far. Also, unless I'm mistaken, Rick Flag Sr. is the Secretary of Defense, yes?

Energon Universe - ongoing Transformers and G.I. Joe comics from Skybound

For fun, I've been keeping track of the current status of all known Transformers in the Energon Universe since the story began. As of this week's issue, the 2025 special, and Void Rivals 18, here's the updated list (spoilers of course):

Couldn't agree more. The final scene got me emotional. I think the system still works. For BBY, the year starts X amount of time before the Battle of Yavin. For ABY, the year is that many years after. In other words, 1 ABY is the first year after the battle, 2 ABY is the second year after the...

Now eventually you are going to have a Comic Book thread on this Comic Book forum, right?

While I'm not familiar with this title, I've read and enjoyed some of Kieron Gillen's work in Star Wars, so I may just have to check that out. I'm personally a big fan of long, overarching storylines that aren't afraid to leave the "status quo" behind. Invincible is my all-time favorite comic...

Now eventually you are going to have a Comic Book thread on this Comic Book forum, right?

I will say, this last Brainiac issue was fascinating. So far, my biggest issue is that its been hard to really care about Lazarus Corp or the conflict with them, but maybe having Brainiac as the face of Lazarus moving forward will get me more invested. Unless I'm mistaken, Absolute Martian...

Very excited for the upcoming finale. Andor has been some of the best Star Wars that I've ever seen, rivaling some of the best arcs of The Clone Wars.

Skyrim! Because all the really good stuff never actually leaves.

I swore a few years ago that I was done with the game, but the Skyrim itch has been rearing its ugly mug again. I fear my "days since last Skyrim run" counter may be restarting soon
