Couldn't the toy be colored like the promo art? Much like the triple changing Sentinel from a few years back he feels too monochomatic and needs more variation of color. The whiplash i felt looking at that gorgeous box art and the the bland yellowish slab after scrolling down a bit was jarring.

I dont really remember playing with my toys much like that. The only thing that comes to mind was repurposing my Megazord components into enemies for Megaman, then they would of course combine and be a harder battle.
I didnt hate that. There were little bits and flourishes I did really enjoy. Mainly the little energon pixels that pop off of them as they sustain damage. It kept making me think "they better watch their HP guages"
Slightly off topic but Ive wanted the movies to do Chaos Effect for like forver. They keep skirting it, but then they give us boring ass color schemes like "all white" or " all black with some gold (?) stripes.
I had a dream a few months back that the Netflix Chopper was just going to be a CG version of that prototype art (the second in the b/w image grid)
