It is more common in brown and gold but can affect any color. 2010 Primus’ blue parts and Japanese Transquito’s teal parts have it and in the Super Robot fandom, various parts, mostly in swirly blue plastic are affected.
It’s only a little over $110 converted here, and I still feel ripped off. They put way too much effort into this thing for the silly planetruck mode instead of a less fiddly robot. In a way, it’s the worst of Macross and Transformers
I’d been using the unofficial FOC Shockwave pictured with him as my main Shockwave as he ends up around as tall as the SS86 faction leaders but decided to pick this up because my girlfriend liked the shade of purple and he can always play the role of Bruticus’ gun. He’s not bad but he feels...
Mecha Invasion unofficial Devastator does something like that. Hook instead of folding in half at the midsection, leading to a chest that's twice as wide as his vehicle mode, has Hook's upper body/ the crane rear half stay more or less the same while the legs fold and wrap around it, leading to...
Got Studio Series Shockwave as an impulse buy. Not much to say, he’s a degreebling of Stege Shockwave and has decent tolerances overall. The purple is great, vehicle mode is still whatever. The gray parts still steged up kind of contrast badly with the new smooth parts.
Vehicle mode is the...
I've just headcanoned Prime Cliffjumper into the role. The more aggressive design fits with his character more than red Bumblebee with a car hat. (Are spoilers car hats?)
I don't have a real preference on Devastator's armbot treads being on the shoulders vs part of the chest, but seeing how C/UW and SS86 turned out, maybe shoulders really is the way to go. Maybe somebody can come up with a Devastator that keeps them on the chest but doesn't end up with a barrel...
Yeah, it doesn't make any sense for Target to commission exclusives then suddenly say no at the last minute. Even if profit margins aren't to their liking, surely they'd lose even more money from not selling the units they already paid for, not even getting into legal problems with broken...
Secret. Like a secret agent. Maybe one that's English, has a license to kill, trained in martial arts and drives around the world in fancy cars. My god, it's the Austin Powers collaboration we've all been waiting for!
There's a company making a Dante action figure but it's DMC4 Dante, doesn't even have Gilgamesh, Lucifer or Pandora and I'd much prefer DMC1 or 3 Dante. I guess 2's design was okay and I wouldn't say no to 5 even if he does have hobo vibes.
I mean, it's no conspiracy. They're straight up charging more for the deco they think will have more demand. Can't speak for the US market but AM Predaking went for $388 while Police Predaking is $282 here.
Is this somebody who we should take seriously? Real question. Asian distributors got a lot of stock early because they’re on the same side of the world and the toys are more or less mass retail with a slightly smaller supply here.
